They were talking about how the most successful dance compilations have been the Ministry Annuals, and for a couple of minutes they focused solely on Tori's Professional Widow, the Armand Van Helden mix. The man from the Ministry said that it was Prof. Widow that launched the Ministry cd's, thanks to the fact that Warner allowed them, and no-one else, to have the song on their compilation. They played some of the video too. I thought it was very interesting, and an all too rare Tori sighting on uk tv. For my theology class this Thursday, March 30, I have to take a song (or film) clip 2 minutes max. that shows a relationship between a father/daughter/son/mother. Any combination of those members of a family. I thought, "Well, Tori sure has issues with her father and the Father." So alas, I've narrowed it down to Bliss and Playboy Mommy. I like the edgy lyrics with Bliss; the way it plays on the "Our Father" (I am in a Catholic school). It could also mirror to her father and how she would hurt Splunky (sp?) the Purple Monkey just despite him. But there is also the maternal "fear" in her voice in Playboy Mommy. It shows how she thought her daughter may have been ashamed of her (tori). Which do you all think would make a better example. I can only use 2 minutes, so I've been trying to just start the song at the lyrics and see which one shows a better meaning in the 2 minute timeframe. My friend (whom I got hooked on Tori last year) is doing Winter....I don't know the story behind that one...Any light to shed on it? Thank You for your help... anthony :) ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V5 #72 ************************************
