April 11 in the States and elsewhere, I believe. Chantal's kinda a cross between Fiona and Sheryl Crow. I guess. With some Alanis mixed in for shrieking effect. Her new album won a Juno a couple weeks ago for Best Adult Album, beating Alanis, Diana Krall, and other big names, as did she herself for Best Female Artist. matthew. I had a friend once he took some ecstasy tried to marry me and every one in the room. he was sort of loving kinda caring, kinda tried to fuck my lazy boy. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 22 Mar 2000 22:44:37 -0800 (PST) From: Diana Suhaka Subject: Re: Ananda and a question Hi Everyone, I went to the rolling stone site that someone sent so we could listen to Ananda. I went through the registration process and everything. Checked to see if I had the right software (I did). But I still had a problem. I was hoping that a more computer intelligent person could help me. For some reason when I hit the play button, the sound came in fragments and then there was nothing. What's going on? Help me, because I really want to hear this chick Thanks Diana __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! We are a piano rock driven group with definite Tori similarities (something Toriphiles would appreciate), but we need a vocalist to round out the sound. Male or female vocalists desired, please drop us a line so we can talk. They sampled Tori's "Caught a Lite Sneeze", "Little Amsterdam" and "Over Me" by the Beatles, mixed it together and threw some of their own guitar and vocals over it... calling it original. It's got a cool sound, but definitely copyright infringement. - -BC ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number - Free Free voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 Mar 2000 16:51:16 EST From: Surreal00@aol.com Subject: Re: precious-things-digest V5 #68 In a message dated 03/23/2000 1:23:30 AM Eastern Standard Time, owner-precious-things-digest@smoe.org writes: << Is it me, or has Matt been pretty busy recently? Not only providing the beats for Fiona Apple's "When The Pawn", and of course with Tori, and indeed his own band, but (and this might be old news) he was the drummer on Macy Gray's "On How Life Is..." -which, I guess, makes sense considering the Andrew Slater / Epic Records connection, but still, I hadn't noticed it before and wondered if everyone knew? He's been on some pretty succesful albums of late! >> hehe..Matt Chamberlain is a yummy looking character. Does anyone else think this? So is Caton, oh yus, Caton is a looker. Nothing, of course, compared to Tori but you know, they are attractive boys! really good tea..
