Was there a cover on it or was it just in a sleeve or what? I was just curious. Also out of curiosity, does anyone on this list happen to have the record for Baltimore? I'm sure this has been asked before but I don't remember the answer, and I'm trying to find some... are there any TVAB midis floating around? Bliss, 1000 Oceans, Josephine maybe? That's one I'm looking for. Let me know if anybody knows where I might find some. :) - -- ^_~Megasus~_^ http://members.xoom.com/Megasus/ ICQ# 14241089 "I don't think you even know what you think you just said..." - -Tori Amos Want to make 50 cents an hour, just for surfing the web? I read this and I had to respond. I am known to my friends as a Tori Amos Junkie. I constantly have something by her stuck in my head, I have this Quote of the Day system (something to lift the school-induced tension) and most of the time they are by Tori. I wrote a short story (set to a piece of music) set to 'Past the Mission', and when we had to compile poetry for English, my booklet was basically a combination of Sylvia Plath, Tori Amos, and a few other poets. To make a long story short, I am well known as a Tori fan. Whenever I talk about her, at least one person generally askes about her. So, I have all of her CDs dubbed on tapes, and I lend them Little Earthquakes/Under the Pink (not as mainstream as 'Chorigirl' or 'Venus', not as shocking as 'Boys For Pele'. So far, I've converted three people to Tori Amos-obsession, and I have two people that are partially there. I don't see anything wrong with "introducing" people to Tori... in my opinion, it's a good thing. Generally they give something back in return as well. For example, a friend of mine (who is not completely addicted to Tori) "introduced" me to Ani DiFranco last year. We've become so much closer through our tastes in music. I'm sorry, this became so much more ramble-y than I meant for it to become. I guess the bottom line is "Sharing is caring" :) Liz ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 04 Mar 2000 23:03:39 GMT From: "Venus Datura" Subject: Tori Amos petition If there are any Australian Toriphiles or Ears With Feet on this list, can you please got to http://www.expage.com/page/watercolourstain and click on "Petition for Tori Amos" and leave your name etc? If and when I get enough names, I'm going to print it out and send it to Tori/ her management. Thanks. ================ "I want to torture the people who don't understand the world of faeries. Beyond that, Tori covered it -before- the song made its way into popular music. It took "Nevermind" awhile to really get off the ground, and Tori's version was out before that. FWIW. :) /nad ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V5 #54 ************************************
