I mean, I know it's considered bad manners to cover a popular song early in your career. Alana Davis was unfairly banished for singing Ani Difranco's 32 flavours (alana did a better job :) and Faith Hill covered Janis Joplin's "Take Another Little Piece of my Heart". So was tori criticized? Or seeing as it was a b-side was it okay? just curious. 'cause i love her version so much... >> ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 1 Mar 2000 16:53:16 EST From: Ange816@aol.com Subject: Passions Hey everyone, I just thought since everyone posts every time they hear Tori on TV, that I should too. I heard her on passions today. They were playing Concertina, and then about a month ago, they were playing 1000 oceans in the background. I never even watch that show so they could have played her more than that but I don't know. Well, just thought it would make you happy! (Oh yeah, I was in the department store Parisians the other day and they were playing her on the radio thing over the whole store.) This is kind of exciting for me because they never play Tori anywhere around here so when I hear it I like to talk about it. Do they play her on the radio stations where any of you live? Subject: vegas bit i got this from the dent (thought of posting it for the poor souls that don't visit it regularily:) it's from cable guide or something like that... i was one of the poeple wondering about that certain waitress moment in the show... TVG: What was the Vegas show like? TA: Well, Vegas is always tricky. You get those people who got their discount ticket coupons from the Mirage or wherever we were. Banter with the audience can add to the show, but when one person decides to ruin it for the rest, that's not going to happen on my time. My shows are about mutual respect. I ran into one of those fans that night in Vegas. This guy was just stupid and drunk. I gave him the finger for 30 seconds until he got it. that cleared things up for me...i know people mentioned that it might have been something to do with the cameras or camera people... a. ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=1 ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 01 Mar 2000 16:49:31 -0700 From: Holly Rae Bemis Subject: Juarez Murder Victims Hi!
