Tori Quote needed by tomorrow. I have a friend at work, who always trys to downplay the fact that sheep are stupid. Now I get very annoyd with her because of this, and I am going to tell you why. My astrological sign is Aries, which is the Ram, which translates to "Male Sheep". I'm extremely connected with that, and I beleive in the Zodiac, for I've seen it's fucking truth. I resemble that animal in it's characteristics. I mean, I dive in head first into everything, just like the Ram does. Anyway, my point is, whenever I express the fact that I beleive in that sign, and I respect the anaimal, she downplays me, and tells me that they are stupidest, most useless animals. So I tried to remember that one quote tori had that involved sheep, and how she would rather be with a group of sheep, than be with something else? or... I can't remember. So, I gave her that same type of analogy, I told her "I would rather be with 50 sheep, than be alone with one human" I don't know if I fit it into that specific quote tori had said concerning sheep. Long Story short: She's leaving this friday because she is pregnant, and I want to write her a card, and include that quote, sort of to make her think, while she's on leave. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please, e-mail the list, or respond privately to me with the quote. I would thank you for the rest of my life. Thanks in advance Gus (who wrote this whole e-mail while high on weed, and is so proud of himself, because he is able to articulate so much better, and his vocabulary increases too. I don't know what It is, but they need to make this shit legal because it's getting to expensive. :) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 9 Feb 2000 18:38:16 EST From: Erinita@aol.com Subject: Re: Do It Again Question Do It Again is actually a cover of the Steely Dan classic rock hit. You would most likely recognize it immediatly if you heard the original version, it's a very popular song of that genre. Tori's version is so so different than the original, it took a while for the original version to register with me. I actually have a freaky occurence related to this song. One day I was sitting in my car listening to Tori's version on tape when the Steely Dan realization came to me and I had finally figured out where the song came from, and after it ended I popped the tape out, and low and behold, major freaking coincidence, the Steely Dan version was playing on the radio! Anyway, that's my story. Kiss, kiss. For all of those people who caught Tori back in 1994 while supporting her record, "Under the Pink," I need your help. Does anyone know what song was played over the speakers while she was walking out. It sounded like the basis of it was very much a drum-programming, but that is all I remember. Granted, this was six years ago, but some of you must have a better memory than that of myself. I know that on the "Dew Drop Inn Tour", "Son of a Preacher Man" was played while she was walking out. Thanks for your help. Best, ~~RYan "No one else will share our thoughts, you were there for me when I was lost. Now you're just a memory of someone we wanted you to be. You were always the one to fall, now it's your time to show them who's tall." ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
