Hi there, I found an mp3 entitled Sarah McLachlan + Tori Amos - Flood - Black Dove (January).mp3 but when I listened to it I only heard Tori ... can anyone fill me in on what this is? Thanks, Bryana ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Feb 2000 18:30:55 -0600 From: "Daisy Dead Petals" Subject: CFG So, did anyone figure out the improv part at the end of Cornflake Girl? At about 6:08 til the end on Venus? I have a boot from the Minneapolis Choirgirl tour and I dont think the improv is the same...but I cant figure either one of them out! BTW, if anyone is interested, I am still pregnant--very! :) And I still think of Tori every day and hope that she can be a mother soon. It is so wonderful...I cant even begin to describe it to you guys! Daisy Melanie loopgaroo@g2a.net "I know the truth LIES in between the first and fortieth drink..." I can answer this one, dear. I think. Amazon.com, like other online places often lists import titles twice, and at first sight it might look like an error of their part but I think there is one main reason: import singles might come from various countries. Some are from the UK, some are German, some are "European", some Australian, Japanese, Dutch, Austrian, etc. But usually (for Tori, at least) it's either England, Germany and Australia. Given that "Talula" and "Spark" were both released in England and Germany they might be listing the two parts produced in both countries. There's no difference between the English and German releases, except for perhaps some brightness in the coloring of the discs, or something. Here's the track-listing for the "Talula" and "Spark" singles: Talula UK/German Part 1 (eastwest A8512CD1): 1. Talula (The Tornado Mix) 2. Talula (BT Synethasia Mix) 3. Amazing Grace/'Til The Chicken Talula UK/German Part 2 (eastwest A8512CD2): 1. Talula (The Tornado Mix) 2. Frog On My Tongue 3. Sister Named Desire 4. Alamo Spark UK/German Part 1 (eastwest AT0031CD): 1. Spark 2. Purple People 3. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas 4. Bachelorette Spark UK/German Part 2 (eastwest AT0031CD2, Limited Edition with postcards): 1. Spark 2. Cooling 3. Do It Again As for the "Glory Of The 80's" singles, I think it's same case as the above, though I don't think the Part Two disc was issued in Germany. But let's not start with the GOT80s thing again, you can check the dent for that... :) ANYWAY, the message here is, there's no relevant difference (no track difference whatsoever) so DO NOT buy into the "Part 1" and "#1" listings, you'll waste your money. Hope this helped, Giovanni ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V5 #31 ************************************
