I have been interested in getting some Tori bootlegs but I have nothing to trade. So i was wondering if I could buy one from some one who is willing to sell. I would be interested in any Plugged Performances. I don't know much about these things. Can you play the discs on your cd player or on your computer or what? You can find the answer to this question in the Tori FAQ, which you can get by emailing and asking nicely. It's also available on the rmta webpage at . >Also does anyone know where to get "Ove the Pink"....I was just curious! _Over the Pink_ is a commercial bootleg compilation of UtP-era bee-sides. You can't find it in a big chain store like Tower Records or Best Buy or anything like that -- they cannot stock bootlegs. You may be able to find a copy of it at a small independent music store or used music store. Expect to pay US$20-US$30 for a silver pressed CD. Make sure that you check the back of the CD to ensure that it's not green or blue, 'cause then you're paying for a CD-R that cost the store at most US$5 to make. You can also head over to the Tori-boot mailing list and ask there if someone can make you a CD-R copy of it. You can subscribe to Tori-boot by heading to and searching for "Tori boot". I also have this, and make CD-R copies for $8 per CD (with all profits to RAINN). You can check out my complete list at: http://www.mindspring.com/~mielke/Nadyne/ Please note that I'm out of town until the 10th, so don't ask me about it until I get home! :) HTH. :) /nad ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 Jan 2000 18:24:03 +0100 From: "Jeanette Joske Smedegaard" Subject: Tori Amos and Prince? a friend of mine asked me the following - i could not answer it . can any help me? "From the Choirgirl Hotel" by Tori Amos on sale for $14(around here, thats a sale!) so I buy it-my cousin has been a huge fan for about a year so under her influence I bought it, and then-I FELL IN LOVE!!!!!!! There's not, to my knowledge, a webpage with all tour dates available. In print, look in either _Tori Amos Collectibles_ by Paul Campbell (all tour dates through 1997) or _Silent All These Years_ by Kalen Rogers (first ed: all tour dates through 1994; second ed: all tour dates through the middle of the DDI tour). There is a webpage with the 1994 tour dates (and some setlists, as gleaned from the then-brand-new Really Deep Thoughts mailing list). However, I can't recall the URL. The webpage is listed in the Tori Resources FAQ, which you can get by emailing and asking nicely. (That FAQ is slightly out-of-date, and I'll be updating it at or around the 10th.) >Also, does anyone know if A Realm Of MPs is working or not? (UK) Hi, There was a new "pop quiz" called "A Question Of Pop" on BBC television this evening and one of the rounds was songs recorded by other people - they played the cover version, and then asked who performed the original. The Tori song played was "That's What I Like Mick" - one of the BeeSides for the UK "Caught A Lite Sneeze" single... what a weird surprise! I listened to both and they're correct! That means, they play the songs they state on the packaging. Yay. I don't even want to get into which versions are rarer, these "correct" ones or the "fucked-up" ones but hehe, I'm just happy I got them. "Famous Blue Raincoat" and "Twinkle" are gorge. Tori's voice sounds particularly "sweet" on these two tracks, and while I like the more serious wording on the studio recording of "Famous Blue Raincoat", I love this one too. The singles were pretty damn cheap! I ended up paying about $14 US Dollars with registered shipping included from the UK. I could not believe it... these guys are good. Hehe. Oh yeah, tell them I (giofabman@hotmail.com) sent you, their website address is: http://www.101cd.com Well, that's it. Oh before I go, does anyone know more about this "to venus and back" LP picture disc from Mexico? I'm almost certain it's not legitimate but hrm, might be an interesting thing to get. I got my Collectibles book too! Yay! It's been two weeks since I've had it and not a day has gone by without me checking it. I am obsessed. Mr. Campbell should update it, but perhaps he's waiting for one or two more albums to be released. Hehe. Well, bye now! Thanks!
