They are very reminiscent of the "Cloudy Hands", which are circular arm movements that use the hands to bring the power from the pelvis to the face. I don't think you saw it on CDNow or any of the other well-known sites, because it hasn't been available for them to order in any quantity for quite awhile. Here are some sites you may be able to find it on: http://www.eqsmusic.com http://www.gaslight.com.au <-- prices here are in AUS$, not US$, so don't freak out over the prices! Well thanks to everyone's posting, I set my VCR the other day to be sure and tape the View. l checked it today to be sure it was ok and left. I forgot one thing, to put a fu*king tape in the machine. So how was it? I hate that show, but was eager to see tori bring her "view" to the show. I just discovered that this is the same Jemma Price that my wife knows. She's my wife's hairdresser's sister! I remember her telling me a while ago that she was making a CD but she never told me what it was. I just got my copy today only to find it's recorded in my home town and it's Jemma! A total surprise. I think it's a very brave attempt at covering some very difficult songs. I particularly like the version of Hey Jupiter with guitar. I'd recommend it. The youngest View panelist (I can't remember her name) interviewed her briefly and said that she saw Tori in Sacramento when Tori was just starting out and that her lyrics were so deep, and she wondered just what inspired her, since she inspired so many other people. And Tori just kind of sheepishly looked at the audience, like she didn't know what to say, and said, "Food." And then there was silence and the girl asked her, "Is that all?" And Tori said, "And racing my boat. I like to race my boat. But my boat blew up..." Then the girl tried to interrupt her to maybe talk about that for a sec, but Tori interjected, "I like to be on the water." And then there was a pause, and the girl said, "Gee, I thought it would be so much deeper than that." Then she said that Tori would play 1,000 Oceans and she did and it was beautiful, of course, but the second verse was omitted, as usual for her TV performances (the verse about the blue ball). Tori wore her hair straight again (I don't particularly like that on her). She had on lots of black eye liner and nude/tan lipgloss. She wore a black top with black tights and I think a leopard-looking knee-length skirt. She also wore a black choker made of a ribbon or cord. I don't particularly think that was becoming on her, since her face and neck have gained a little weight. I don't know-- I kind of miss her old style: the jeans cut off at the knee, the tacky leotard tops, her frizzy hair, and red lipstick... like how Tori looks on the Dreaming boot (the picture on the back). Just thought I'd fill you in for those of you who missed it. - -jen ===== "This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration.
