The concert was amazing. I'm sure you read the set list on the list but here it is with my input: God - with a great new beginning where Tori sings acapella from offstage before the band even comes on. Sugar - wow. she sure wailed this one. Juarez - oh SO sexy, deep and throaty, she gyrated at the synthesizer for this one so I got a great picture. She looked amazing with her hair short and curly, a tight whit top that crossed in a low-cut V over her chest and jeans. Past the Mission - I was so surprised to hear this one. I think she played it for me. Awhile back (the ft laud show) I sent a bottle of wine and a poem to her through a messenger and said I'd be at the Indy show. The poem ends with Somewhere only she knows, as does the song pretty much. Crucify - I love the new version of this. It's got a nifty new beginning. Bliss - Everytime she plays this I just melt. Putting the Damage on - Oh my God - what a surprise!! She commented that she hasn't played this alone with her Bosie for a long time. It was amazing, especially in light of my recent experiences with men, wow. Never Seen Blue - beautiful Concertina - I really really like this song. Hotel - Wow. I was surprised again. She does an AMAZING version of this live. They really went all out with the lighting for this one too. When the music broke down so did the lights. The set is these tin foil looking things that turn whatever color the light shining on them is and they had purple, green, orange, and yellow lights. And lava lamps. Professional Widow - I was lucky enough to hear this TWICE on this tour. Everyone loves it. Anyone who was sitting got up and danced. It started with a radio announcer type voice saying something about taking it back to the old days. The Waitress - I have been to 3 shows on the tour and never seen it like this. She went on and on with "I believe in ____". It was so amazing. I was really into it. Precious Things - Everyone was up for this one. Amazing, as usual. So there you go, I was at the end of the A section on the left and could see pretty well the whole time. I loved seeing her outside. There's something so right about seeing Tori with the wind blowing through your hair. The audience wasn't THAT energetic, lots of people were actually SITTING. Not me though.
