I was at it and it was just a gorgeous show, but the best part of it was when Tori sang the lines "I believe she killed her husband" in The Waitress. I've been an avid Courtney Love hater for awhile and I truely believe that she killed Kurt, so when I heard Tori say that, I immeadiately latched on to the belief that it was about Courtney. My belief grew stronger when the next night Tori sang "the kinda girl who kills her husband" in her intro to Cornflake Girl. I have since gotten two other shows with the "Courtney is a killer" message in them. I have the 8/11/98 Richmond show where in Cornflake Girl Tori says something like "I won't say her name but she killed someone so dear to all of us." And I have the 9/24/98 Vegas show where in The Waitress Tori says "I believe she's a killer. I believe she killed him." (Folks with lighter hair won't need such high lift and should use 20 volume.) >Tori used to do this process herself but now gets it done professionally. And when a fan asked her about the exact color formula in an online chat a while back, Tori was quick to point out that she no longer uses the Torch Crimson/Rosewood Brown mix. It had thrashed her hair, which is why she began using a professional colorist. (She didn't say what her current color formula is and the fans haven't asked -- not surprising, since it's quite a bit toned down from the vibrant orange-red that everyone went so crazy for.) Tori's old formula: 2 oz. 40 volume peroxide (sometimes 30) 2 oz. Clairol Torrids in "Torch Crimson" 1/4 oz. Clairol Beautiful Reds in "Rosewood Brown" In tablespoons, that would be: 4 tablespoons peroxide 4 tablespoons Torrids 1/2 tablespoon Rosewood (To measure and mix haircolor, always use plastic utensils/bowls, never metal or aluminum.) BTW, this formula stinks to high heaven, so have a clothespin handy for your nose and a tissue for your burning, teary eyes. There are so many fabulous colors (especially in red shades) available on the market today -- like Feria, or the line I have used and loved for years and years, Wella's Color Charm -- that I don't see much reason why anyone would want to use Torrids.
