Geomancy is the study of the earth's energy fields and the kinds of landmarks associated with the use of such energy (like stone circles, temples, etc). On the web site he has a forum where people can ask questions and other people answer. I asked about the energies in Cornwall, and someone replied with some useful information. I thought I would share it with you guys, to let you in on some of what may have drawn Tori to this magical place. "The area is primarily massive granite and is an island on three sides. Granite is heavy, shot through with quartz and is very energetic on an earth energy level. Cornwall is mountainous with many rocky outcrops, rugged, and in most cases unable to support agriculture other than a few motheaten looking sheep. The place absoloutely sings and dances in earth energies, and is strewn with stone circles, fogous, quoits (so-called "burial chambers") and other megalithic remains. First of all, one of the major (some say the greatest) ley-line in the country enters Cornwall near Land's End, zaps through a few stone circles, into Penzance Bay, through St Michael's Mount, then up through the country to Glastonbury, Avebury, and out into the North Sea just to the south of Lowestoft. It is a Hyperspace bypass indeed, and some say it is one of the large circum-planetary leylines making up the huge planetary grid. This line acts as a major artery through the country, with other channels linked to it, which feed the rest of the land down to the smallest cappillary. There is a large network of smaller leylines mapped through Cornwall, which can be accessed through The Leyhunter magazine. Water and air are fierce guardians of this penninsula, and the elements are always evident whether fierce or gentle." Hope you all find this as interesting as I do!
