Joey ToriBoi@aol.com Joey's Skies ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Sep 1998 23:04:02 EDT From: "Sonya Harway" Subject: RS/Circus/promo poster/wonderful evening I am such a lucky girl. I made a lot of money at work last night so I decided to take my boyfriend to the mall to buy him some stuff (read CDs). So we went, and unlike his usual self, he didn't want a lot, so I bought him a CD, and the first shop we walk into, lo and behold, the RASPBERRY SWIRL SINGLE!! I love this store. It's called Waves, and it's all over the East Coast, and in Oregon and Washington, and maybe Texas. So i bought it. So then we head down to Sam Goody. And he didn't want anything there, so I bought myself a *75 cent* Tracy Chapman tape (for my car, b/c it was SO CHEAP!) and I saw this poster. It was just one of those illustrated posters describing each section. Here we have R&B, here's Jazz, and here's Alternative, with a lovely picture of Tori Amos and some other people. And I made a passing remark about how I would like to have that, and my boyfriend goes up and asks about it. So they're like, "Oh we don't know, we don't know," but they made a tentative promise to hold it for me if I come back at the end of the month. I also saw the Anthology here too. So finally we head off to WaldenBooks, where my boyfriend is looking for MixMag or Herb magazine. And what do I find?? Circus, with the two page article on Tori!! Just when I thought the magazine didn't exist. It's not a very professional magazine, but it's nice. If anyone wants a copy, I'll probably be going back into Manassas soon. (It's only on display until the 22nd, so act fast) I'm just such a lucky girl. But I'm going to finish this email and waddle off to bed b/c I ate too much pasta with pesto and feta, and I had a Slurpee earlier (I am such a lucky girl!!) love, sonya =Thank you for your squirrel= ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Sep 1998 02:09:40 PDT From: shirleeh@juno.com (Miss Taci) Subject: Portland Show Superb show.
