It's not just you. There are real problems connecting to the site these days. I'm not sure *why* the particular error you mentioned happens, but www.tori.com has been going downhill in general for several weeks now. I kinda feel that doing an extensive tour as Tori is right now, if she is travelingthis much to do all these massive shows, and doing the meet-n-greets, and such, one would be expected almost to catch a flu or a cold here and there, When one is accustomed to one type of climate, (ie> cold weather to warm or vice versa) you have to have time to get used to it and you may experience some icky feelings, I knwo when i moved from San Diego calif to anderson Indiana, I got sick quite a bit, my voice became hoarse, almost froglike, and I constantly hada cold, now Im back in San Diego and I was sick again for a while, b/c the smog and such, but Im better, now... So all in all, I think maybe its the different climates and such that are troubling Tori. I just wish everyone would kinda give her a little more lee-way and such, I mean shes doing this all for her fans and such, (EWF) Oh well, just my thoughts, I love Tori, even if shes sick or whatever, I think shes gotta be the nicest person ever for putting herself through all this just for us, her fans.... This year, it will be held in Atlanta on 7-9 August 1998. It's a full weekend affair, including a banquet and dance Saturday night. If you're interested in attending... you're too late, registration closed months ago. :( However, we're in the midst of taking votes for when/where ToriCon 99 will be held, and anyone who's interested should check out rmta for more information. Last year, we held an auction in conjunction with ToriCon. We raised $1000, and we're hoping to beat that this year. We've got some great items for auction {including the aforementioned Crucify box set}. If anyone has any donations to make {Tori items, music items, whatever -- since this is a fundraiser for RAINN, we accept anything you want to toss our way; last year we had art, jewelery, promos from other artists, and lots of nifty stuff}, please drop me an email and I'll get you in contact with the guy running the auction. I will post more information about the auction {the URL to see the items, how to bid, etc} as it gets going. If anyone has any more questions about the auction or ToriCon in general, please feel free to drop me a line. I'll do what I can to answer your questions.
