I know someone already reported that CRUEL was being pulled from the Avengers soundtrack. However, at www.cdnow.com if you search for AVENGERs and click on the advance order CD go to the tracklist Cruel is still listed as track 8. However, on the notes section at the bottom, she is listed nowhere. So who knows if it's gonna be on their or not. If Tori is included this should be an exciting soundtrack. I'm very excited about new Sinead O'Connor and Annie Lennox covering Bjork! I'm sure there are P.J. Harvey fans here who are excited also. Poster World 618-985-4025. - talk to Mark Skaggs. I order form him alot and he is really reliable and has good prices. The best times to call ar on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS from 10am till 7pm CENTRAL time. I ordered 2 posters from him not too long ago and he still has some in stock if any of you are looking for them. One is a Subway poster (its huge! and so nice) that has the England tour dates on it with "Spark" and the release date on the side of it. The other one is a promotional poster for 'from the choirgirl hotel' and its about 15 x 15 in size. they are really nice posters. Mark has no website as of yet, so you will need to contact him by phone. If you call him, tell him that I (Danica) sent you over! He knows who I am. :) Ok, thats it, just wanted to share the Tori wealth! :) Danica - -- http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Towers/5612/torimp3.html - - Tori Amos: A Realm of Mp3's Website ....I guess I'm an underwater thing, I'm liquid running http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Towers/5612/glittermain.html All That Glitters....Is Sour (my homepage) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 04 Jul 1998 00:57:43 -0500 From: Pauline Subject: Tori-inspired art prints TORI-INSPIRED ART PRINTS by Pauline Hi everyone! I still have quite a number of Tori-inspired art prints for sale. Each print is approximately 12" by 16" in size. They're printed on high quality acid-free paper. Each image limited to only 200 copies, and each one is individually signed in silver ink. (Can be personally signed by request). There are 5 different images available - and you can see them all at Mikewhy's wonderful Tori site at www.aye.net/~mikewhy/poster.html They are as follows: "Bells for Anastasia" (victorian Tori in a rose garden) "A Message from Jupiter" (Tori wearing crown, stars around her) "Monsters" (Tori sitting on piano, surrounded by monsters) "Out of the Nest" (Tori in a nest, staring up at moon) "Tori-toons" (arrangement of 5 silly Tori/piano cartoons) Money from posters is being donated my favourite charities, the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Animal Alliance of Canada. Both charities have been very grateful for the donations raised so far. The cost for 2 prints is $13, four for $24 or all 5 for $30. These prices include airmail. Personal check or money order in US dollars preferred. I was told about a store called "music city". It's on Main Street in Binghamton. Most of their live recordings were things that are common everywhere but I did get some kick-booty posters. I got the last one of a 24x36 Tori at piano (same pic as a postcard), I got a subway size one of her on the bed and I got the last one of a Choirgirl Promo Poster ad. Very cool store,if you are ever going up that way, stop in. They do have original stuff. He called last night and told me he found a single for Father Lucifer. I didnt think there was one? He said there's 3 tracks on it, including a live version of Horses. Does anyone else have this? If so, what is it? I told him to get it for me since there were two copies of it... Yours in Tori, Jenn "I say the world is sick, you say tell me what that makes us darlin. Hm. Anyways, wanted to invite "y'all" (doh! there I go again!) to see a poem that I wrote for Tori back in the BFP days...it's in response to the song "Not the Red Baron" and I'll briefly describe what inspired me to write it...see, I was having this dream of being like, say, a puppet master or something in the sky...almost like a god with strings on my fingers maneuvering these little WWI single engine fighter planes and I couldn't control them...in other words, I was a really sucky puppeteer. So while they're all crashing into the ground and into eachother I have Tori's song (NTRB) pounding through my head like a stereo located in my temples...you know how those chords go...haunting. And poignant. And then my mom woke me up. That'll give you a little background on the reasons I wrote it and I have it up on my webpage if you want to check it out...just go into "Ward E! (my poetry page)" and click on "My little Tori tribute"...well, maybe more Tori inspired than anything...YOU be the judge. I gave the poem to Tori at a "meet n' greet" and I just hope she had the chance to read it given the amounts of things that fans have given her. Well, at least I get to share it with my fellow Toriphiles! Hope you like- http://www.angelfire.com/il/glassasylum Sooner- Cynthia "no reason to even remember you now except for the boy in the belfry he's crazy he's throwing himself down from the top of the tower like a hunchback in heaven he's been ringing the bells in the church for the last half an hour he sounds like he's missing something or someone that he knows he can't have now and if he isn't I certainly am...." ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V3 #242 *************************************
