Hi! Trawling the record fairs this morning, I came across a couple of points of interest which I'd like to raise. Has anyone else suddenly seen a lot of UK (or US - didn't check the label) 1-track "God" promotional CD Singles? I noticed no less than *6* today in less than 30 stalls.=20 Now far be it from me to be suspicious, but this sudden surge is unlikely to have happened by pure chance - (I've never seen this many in once place) - - and the artwork looked slightly discoloured (on *all* the copies) - so it begs the question : Is someone producing these and passing them off as promos? If so, who? and why? Oh, and is a UK limited "Silent All These Years" CD Single (gatefold w/Happy Phantom Live + 2 other tracks) worth =A320? And does anyone know about the quality of the bootleg video live from the London Palladium (on the DDI tour?) as I was offered this for =A310. (I checked the bootleg discography first, incidentally).. Anybody got any ideas? Tori's cover of "If 6 Was 9" {as well as her covers of "Strange Fruit" and "A Case of You"} is on the UK limited edition Cornflake Girl single. Y'know, the one that's nearly impossible to find and now goes for upwards of $50. It's on a couple of bootlegs, too. It's on "Over the Pink", which is just a compilation of UtP b-sides. I'm rather bored of the topic by now, so can we drop it? Is it really something Tori might actually want her EWF to do, exclude others from the joy because *we* judge him/her to be "less" a fan than ourselves??? Who the hell are we??? Please, let's grow up a little around here. Yes, I agree, the main thing is for the newer ones to learn how to be respectful at her concerts (because they are unlike anything else we've experienced), but I can also atest to the fact that many EWF have been disrespectful--witnessed it at least once at every one of the DDI shows I saw. No one is better than anyone else around here, and if that is in fact the attitude around this list, I'm out of here! Stephanie Richard Handal wrote: > It *completely* changed her life. In the latest issue of Circus magazine(special issue:1997 the year in review)there is a drawing of Trent with Crow wings standing over Tori. Its pretty cool, its on page 27. Just thought I share that with everybody. :) Trent on the cover, so maybe he says something about Tori in his interview, I'll have to read it. But there are no track listings. Forgotten Earthquakes Unplugged Unplugged & Unreleased Could someone please send me (privately) the track lists or a URL for a page that will have it. I'd sooo appreciate it. I'm hungry for new Tori and her new album's a while away. I'm sorry if this isn't allowed. If I could find any singles from LE I would shell out the cash, and if Unplugged were released officially I'd buy it. But bootlegs seem to be my only option. Thanks in advance.
