Someone should post some snippets of your songs on the net. A month after it was supposed to have arrived, they informed me they were out of stock despite their page saying they have it...so it's probably better that you don't order it. I will be putting together a demo soon and I'm currently working on a lot. When I get the demo done, I'll probably post clips on my web page (when it gets up that is). But I'll keep everyone updated. :) Tori has done so much. I'd love to be able to record on her label. But then, she'll have done another favor (besides existing that is). :) Raven Free web-based email, Forever, From anywhere! http://www.mailexcite.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 05 Nov 1997 14:48:55 -0700 From: "Raven's Call" Subject: Re: Re: Re: .....hi...... t your .sig file has nothing to do with >Tori; the problem is that it's so long that it appears to be a message all >by itself. >Violet >xoxox Okay, see I understand that. Really, I do. But I think that he could have e-mailed me maybe privately or if he e-mailed the list, he could have reminded me a lot nicer. I thought it was rude the way he said it. I didn't know. I made a mistake. Everyone's made one. But that's no reason for him to be rude. If he would have said something like.."Your signature if over 12 lines, could you please shorten it. Thanks." I would have done so. :) Raven Free web-based email, Forever, From anywhere! http://www.mailexcite.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 5 Nov 1997 18:55:45 -0600 (CST) From: Michael Curry Subject: Re: Re: Re: .....hi...... *sigh* 1) I admonished Raven because of what I thought was the forwarding of a humor message, not the brief Halloween greetings (although that is something better suited to the end of some Tori-oriented message). As has been pointed out, the Microsoft stuff was in fact just an appallingly long .sig file. However, I would prefer not to see giant sized .sigs, as they are especially annoying to those people who get precious-things in digest form. 2) I send messages like that via the list rather than privately to prevent list members from feeling the need to admonish people themselves and to help remind everyone of what the guidelines are for list content. 3) In case you hadn't noticed by now, I tend to be rather terse when writing messages like that, mainly because I hate having to write them. If you'd prefer a more gentle admonishment please confine any transgressions to the periods where I am busy and woj (also known as "good cop") is not.
