Winter is my most favorite Tori song. There is no way to play it too much or too often. > another friend of mine thought that I was too sentimental > & romantic for my own good when I told her that... any thoughts? Depending upon my mood at the time I might have told her that she was too intellectual and dissociated for her own good. "Lighten" up and have a good cry; it's good for the soul to be heartbroken if not too often. > "When you gonna make up your mind, > When you gonna love you as much as I do, > ...'cause things are gonna change so fast" > - Tori Amos, "Winter" And take those words to heart for yourself too. Fiona Apple's MTV Unplugged. Could someone make me an audiotape of it. I will pay for the shipping and tape if someone could be generous enough to doo the deed. I post here because of the high Fiona-lovin' ratio of Tori fans (no flames please, I know you all like Tori more). If there is a Fiona list I should be posting this to please tell me. As far as I know there isn't one. Thanks. ...shaved every place where you've been, .j PS: Does anyone know if there will be another single from BfP? If so what do you tink it will be? Just curious. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 5 Sep 1997 13:45:07 -0500 From: "Ellis, Melanie S" Subject: this is just to say... hello fellow Toriphiles! I dont post often...I guess Im one of dem dere lurkers, but I very much enjoy the list even if im not directly participating. I just thought id share a "Tori moment" i had today: During my radio shift (im a DJ at a collage radio station--air name is Daisy Dead Petals) I had to give away tickets, so to make it more interesting, I posed a trivia question to the listeners: Next I will play Ode to the Banana King Part One. Anyone who can tell me what Ode to the Banana King Part 2 is also known as will win the tickets. Well, I saw this trivia question first in the mag Take to the Sky, and the answer mentioned in several interviews since...most of you know the answer, but it might be fun for the people who dont to figure it out. BTW...did you guys know that Willy Porter is from Wisconsin (where I live)? He was on part (if not all) of the DDI tour as an opening act. OK thats all :) Melanie ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 5 Sep 1997 14:51:27 -0400 (EDT) From: Nadyne Mielke Subject: BfP singles, was: Re: Looking for... It's been quite awhile since the last single was released {a year, no?}. I rather doubt that they're going to suddenly pick up BfP and release something else off of it, esp with new Tori material coming soon in the form of the "Great Expectations" soundtrack, and with the promise of a new album on the horizon. /nad *************************************************************************** * Nadyne Mielke, CS majour, Southern Tech, Marietta, GA * * * * "I regret to say that we of the FBI are powerless to act in cases of * * oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate * * commerce.
