THANKS > ~KIM>> >> > hrmmm, i usually hate rumors, but i might as well add to the brew.... Tori played here (penn state) just about a year ago. in the event of waiting in line for the tix, i made a bunch of friends and would frequently see them throughout the school year. WELL, sometime at the beginning of this year, i bumped into one of them. we got to talking and she told me that she had met a woman who was either friends with or had worked for tori (i can't remember which right now). the woman told my friend that tori was taking some time off (nothing we haven't heard) before the next album, AND that she wanted to have a baby. umm, something about having one with her "sound guy" "Brian" (i immediately thought of BT, hrmmm....i understand they're fairly close). that's about it. please don't flame me. i just wanted to shed *maybe* a little light on a potentially juicy piece of information. (can you imagine a little tori? she'd be so beautiful.... :) lurve, feather ^/\^---^/\^---^/\^---^/\^---^/\^---^/\^---^/\^---^/\^---^/\^---^/\^ Heather Solimini (feather) hxs171@psu.edu lotsa stuff at http://www.personal.psu.edu/hxs171 iRc: bluegirl "How you mixed with the darkness at such a young age until in your chemistry science and violence turned silence to rage" --Emily Saliers vVv---vVv---vVv---vVv---vVv---vVv---vVv---vVv---vVv---vVv ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 1 Sep 1997 02:13:37 -0400 (EDT) From: ANaStAsla@aol.com Subject: Tori In A Garden I was wondering if anyone on the list had a pic of Tori in A garden. Heather said: > the woman told my friend that tori was taking some time off (nothing we > haven't heard) before the next album, AND that she wanted to have a > baby. She was saying that openly in interviews during the UtP tour, so surely the general idea of this appeals to her. Personally, I'm quite comfortable with waiting to see what really happens. When and if Tori ever makes an announcement that she is pregnant then we'll all know about it, and won't have any reason to speculate anymore. Be seeing you, Richard Handal, H.G. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 01 Sep 1997 01:50:59 From: Dave Woodson Subject: down by the seaside In the last digest, Nadyne wrote: I have it on very good authority that the cave in Guam was just a front to keep us all off her case. In reality, she did her recording in a special underwater studio off the coast of Duck, NC. She required that everyone who set foot {fin?} in her studio be nude, and there are several pictures of her recording this way on a very reputable website. /nad And then Fonty Asked: I wonder if it would be better to confirm certain news, before making a rumour out of it. This rumor is true according to many sources, including Atlantic records, NASA, Nightline, VH-1 and Serena Sabak (America's Sexiest Psychic) from The Weekly World News. Of course, as with previous albums, not all the material will be recorded in the same studio. Tori will also be recording songs on the Mir station (which will require her to play Bosey in zero gravity!), Mount Everest base camp, The Sphinx and Air Force One (with President Clinton joining her on sax!) Presumably, only the underwater stuff will bw recorded nude. To record on Air Force One, Tori had to get a Top Secret clearance and train in counter-terrorism at Langley. Rumors that the new stuff will be "more electric" are because Bosendorfer has branched out into Synthesizers and MIDI gear, made with silicon chips aged five years in Bill Gates' carport. The album, in the interest of preserving the environment, will be recorded on recycled AOL giveaway CD's, which Atlantic records has been collecting through scout drives across the country. Guest Artists confirmed so far (Aside from Clinton) include Robert Plant, LL Cool J, Bjork, Weird Al, Jewel, Ace Frehley, Roger Waters, Lily Tomlin, Deborah Harry, Elvis and Phil Collins. This is a major project, especially after she just returned from travelling back in time to meet with Charles Dickens and have her lyrics to the song she wrote for the movie version of Great Expectations included in the original manuscript. She will also be starring in Independence Day 2, because Will Smith has saved the world twice already, and figures Tori should be able to fit it into her schedule this time around. That's Tori for you, never sits still for a minute! Really, it must be seriously true, 'cause it's on the internet. -Dave ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 1 Sep 1997 15:10:03 GMT From: aliciau@ibm.net Subject: Re: down by the seaside where do you get all that imagination...? it would be nice to hear tori with no gravity it, though... - -alicia > Tori will also be recording >songs on the Mir station (which will require her to play Bosey in zero >gravity!)...
