["you're counting my feathers as the bells toll" Subject: Under the Covers and "Walking With You" Greghewritesletters emailed me to point out an error I made in a post here. The song "Walking with You" is *not* on theUnder the Covers cassette. I'm not sure where one of my {few} neurons misfired, but it did, and had he not pointed it out, I probably never would have caught it. The song that *is* on UtC is "It's a Happy Day", which can also be found on Disc I of Tori Stories and the boot Ultra Rarities {which is exactly the same thing as disc I of Tori Stories}. According to Mikewhy's quotes page, PW was indeed recorded in Boston, on May 21st. Can anyone tell me if the normal Hey Jupiter EP is a digipack? I'm having a little trouble with my english here...I'm not sure if digipack is the right word...I mean... not the regular plastic box. The US Hey Jupiter is a digipack {or whatever they call the funky cardboard CD holder thingie}. I don't recall offhand if the UK HJ is a digipack or plastic box thingie. /nad {obviously not an English major ;) } *************************************************************************** * Nadyne Mielke, CS majour, Southern Tech, Marietta, GA * * * * "I regret to say that we of the FBI are powerless to act in cases of * * oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate * * commerce. It is advertised as being the largest record show in the United States which I imagine is true. I spent about 7 hours over two days poking around all the vendors' tables. My big "splurge" purchase was a vinyl promo Y Kant Tori Read. It was priced too good to pass up. Saved at least $40 off of the price of another one. There were at least four LP's for sale at the convention. Anyway, after listening to my prize purchase I think the album is not bad. This being a promo disc, it has a white label on the front promoting the songs "The Big Picture" and "Cool On Your Island". I think both songs are worth a release as a single. So now I own legit copies of Tori Amos and Alanis Morissette's ignored first projects and a bootleg copy of Sheryl Crow's unreleased album. I think Tori and Sheryl's first albums are closer to their later more popular works than Alanis. All are interesting historical pieces.
