Keller" Subject: Firewater Firewater is, most centrally, the new project by Tod A. previously of Cop Shoot Cop; he wrote all the songs. Cop Shoot Cop was a New York band, now broken up, rather industrial--a little like NIN or Filter. Terrific band, if you like that sort of thing. Firewater has a little bit lighter, more world-music sound (klezmer and other Mid-East influences), but still features Tod A.'s very dark songwriting. Two songs have vocals by Elysian Fields' Jennifer Charles, but even these are pretty dark. It's a good album. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Feb 1997 10:05:03 -0500 (EST) From: Delirium Subject: Re: tori videos i have all the videos, including the YKTR video, except God. I wanted to quote this from Mikewhy's "A Dent in the Tori Amos Net Universe" sight for those poor souls who are unable to check it daily: "Tori is scheduled to be featured on the U.S. syndicated news program American Journal either today (Feb 6) or next Wednesday or Thursday (Feb 12 or 13). Check your local listings for the time and channel that shows this program. In the Louisville area where I live, the program runs on the local ABC station at 7:00PM. It airs five days a week. Since the date they will show Tori is a little vague right now, I would check the station every day until they show it to be safe! Ruth Eichmiller and Karen Hagglund were the first to tell me about it! Ruth says: 'American Journal is airing a segment on RAINN and how Tori has positively affected others. They interviewed my friend Pat Kochie for this segment. In case you don't know her, she's the brilliantly talented artist who created a doll in Tori's image. Pat is one of the most talented doll artists around. You will get to see some of her inspirational and moving work on the show. She told me it is scheduled to air on Thursday. I am not sure if that means tomorrow or next week.'" Hope everyone gets to catch it! By the way, be sure and go to http://www.tvguide.com/music/features/worlds/pair1.htm and vote for Tori in the TV Guide contest. She's up against Pearl Jam (tough competition!) You can vote as often as you like, but who am I to condone spamming? ;) Katherine ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Feb 1997 16:11:33 -0600 (CST) From: karrie@ix.netcom.com (Xena W.
