You're talking (i guess) about getting tired and losing concentration while listening to Tori Amos for so long without a break. That may be true, but it wasn't what i meant. After having seen a one hour show and getting aware it really is the end i have the feeling that i want more. That feeling is very great. If i have that feeling, it has been a good concert. On the album Glowstars of Heather Nova there's the song All The Way. The song's very simple, basic and short. On the Heather Nova list there was once someone who complained about the length, according to him the should have been much longer. I don't think so. This shortness makes me want more, something which i wouldn't have felt when the song would have been much longer than it is right now. Besides, Heather Nova wrote this song, and she wanted to have it like it is right now (that's what i guess, otherwise she wouldn't have recorded it and putted on her debut album), so any additions to make it some longer would have made the song worse. Jimi Hendrix's song Little Wing isn't that long either. Sting covered the song and played it twice (without a break), just to make it longer. I don't like that version, he should have kept it as short as Hendrix did. Same for concerts, they should be as long as they need to be. Sometimes this is less then one hour, sometimes up to two and a half hours. And i rather leave to concerts with a feeling it was so short and wanting me to see more than a two hour show which i got a little bored in the end (not that Amos' music is boring, but after to hours you need a break).
