So here is my story: I live in Italy, so here medium get on my nerves with Italian junk or some commercial foreign trash. It's hard to come across some alternative & interesting artist. However, one day I saw on TV the CALS video. At first, my impression wasn't very positive. I was a little puzzled by the sound itself, on the contrary the video was original. But from that moment the song begin to creep into my brain: I realized I had to listen to it again. So I started watching that TV channel everyday just to have a chance to see again the CALS video. Finally I taped it and watched to it several times. I wasn't sure that type of music fit me, but I decided to buy the Pele album. The strange thing is that I didn't like it, but this pushed me to buy Little Earthquakes & Under the Pink (which are absolutely my favourite T albums). In fact, after having heard Pele for the 1st time I thought this:"Ok, the album is bad, but I spent my money on it, so I have to listen to it until I like it". And so I did: I've listened to Pele again and again. At the end, now I like it just because it's a T album (because I like everything T does), but I felt I had to know more about T and her music. In some way I felt she was in resonance with me. Some concluding words about T obscurity in lyrics. To me, most of her song, lyrically speaking, are ununderstandable (what a difficult word!), but this doesn't bother me. I feel she's among the artists that suit me. It's something deeper than the pure meanings of the words. I never read lyrics more than one/two times and I never memorize them. The only song in my life that I impressed in my memory is Me & a Gun. It struck me so deeply. That's all!
