I have seen Tori only with the band so last night was a very different experience and a real treat. It's great when you don't know what to expect, especially with such an amazing list of songs she can choose from. Rufus was great but I couldn't understand him at times which can get frustrating, but it's nice to have someone with talent open up for an artist. The audience was very quiet tonight which really surprised me, everyone around me was very respectful and completely mesmerized. This woman is amazing to watch, I have said that every time but this time was different. I love her solo, her music is so pure and you get lost with her for the entire time you are there. I really never care what she chooses to play, I would enjoy listening to her play anything at this point. I've just started piano lessons, and I have to admit I spent time watching her fingers throughout this concert. A lot of people found it sad, but I have to say it was more cathartic then anything else. I was hoping she would play me and a gun because I have never seen it live and that song is so powerful, last night it was beyond powerful. It hits you so hard, as did the rest of the evening. It was so great to hear a whole bunch of old stuff and I love the b-sides. It felt to me like I'd finally had a chance to see the stuff I had missed because I found her too late. That's a great feeling. The woman is incredable live and I am envious to all those who go and see more then one show. I'm glad to hear the meet and greet was so civil, but I'm not surprised. What an amazing night! That's all folks, Lina. ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V6 #204 *************************************
