I'm a professional photographer that has shot more concerts than I can count. We are never allowed to use a flash. (Unless shooting Garth Brooks. Ugh.) Prof. photogs usually use 800 ASA film (Fuji). It will be grainy when it's enlarged a lot, but you get better shots. andrea myth@smyrnacable.net wrote: > > I can understand why ppl want to take pictures, but those who think > they need flashes should be aware..... > > A flash only illuminates the area for about 6 feet in front of you. Woj has this and it should be posted up by now. My head has now returned to Earth and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. Couldn't have been a more wonderful night for me for many reasons. Thanks to everybody who was there and made it the "Precious Thing" it became. Er, well, I wouldn't see much point in repeating anyone else's review, but I believe everyone has some unique observations to make. I appreciate when they find the time to share them, so thank you for yours, Richard. Be seeing you, Richard Handal, H.G. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 1 Sep 2001 19:13:07 EDT From: Twinkle018@aol.com Subject: Tori in Kevin Aucoin's Face Forward << where can i find this book? or, these pictures? *jen* >> Yes... almost any book store has Kevin Aucoin's Face Forward book. I found the one I own at Borders Books and Music (where I bought it)... but, Waldon's had it, B.Dalton had it... Amazon.com had it. It should be really easy to find. In fact, Amazon sometimes has them so that you can buy a used copy from another seller. I've had great luck w/ this. The price is usually half in that situation... just look it up as you would normally and there will be a link saying there is a used copy available if it is. I paid $23, new. There are many other amazing transformations that he created for other famous people all the way from Janet Jackson to Martha Stuart... to some regular non-famous people. Good luck. I hope you enjoy it if you get it. I hated it. But now that I'm listening to the whole album, I absolutely love it. secondly, i have an opinion and a question.. on I'm Not in Love, there's a line that goes (i'm not sure this is verbatim) "I have your picture.. on my wall... it covers up a stain still lying there.." and she keeps repeating "it covers up a stain still lying there" over and over, and the music behind it is pretty creepy-like. i don't remember the original version repeating that line over and over, so i wonder if Tori knows something about that line that we don't.. i'm guessing just from the repeats and the creepy music, that maybe the 'stain still lying there' is blood from abuse, from the one the song was written for. and, the 'picture on the wall' is both a literal translation, and also a metaphor for that person covering up the abuse. get it? i think i'm onto something. if anyone knows the real interpretation of the original song, give it up. i wanna know. any input? stuff, micah p.s. i'm glad Enjoy the Silence is so easy to play on the piano, cuz i'm not that good, but i love to learn her stuff. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 Sep 2001 02:38:56 EDT From: JNe9027355@aol.com Subject: Re: precious-things-digest V6 #155 In a message dated 8/30/2001 10:22:04 PM Pacific Daylight Time, owner-precious-things-digest@smoe.org writes: > Subject: Re: [tori-boot] OT - SLG video! > > I saw the video on VH-1 yesterday.
