I know that it said on the dent it was and at the website for the radio station in NC said also that it was. I've been trying to figure out whether to go to that show or to the one in DC. NC is a whole lot closer for me, but if I know that I have a good shot at getting close seats (with the pre-sale)at the DC show I'll drive the extra 4 hours to get there. Anyone have any advice?? EWF, Does anyone have *any* idea what's going on with the Philly show at the Tower on October 13th? It would plainly suck if Tori missed Philly, since i know there are tons of rabid fans here,... but i suppose there's nothing we can do but wait? The same thing happened for Philadelphia with RadioHead this summer, and the date wound up being cancelled. BTW, why did we feel the need to post the pre-sale dates and password to the list? It would seem to me that the pre-sale date is for people who are subjecting themselves to being on the Tori mailing list, and for no one else (and it's not as if we didn't all get told to join). That's the difference between a special pre-sale and several hundred Tori fans mobbing the TicketMaster website days ahead of time, after all ;p - -peter http://crush.uprush.org ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 15 Aug 2001 10:39:37 EDT From: UnderH20thing@aol.com Subject: Re: Philly, anyone? Bemis-Schurtz" Subject: Rufus + Tori = dream show Hey fellow EWF, I read up on RollingStone.com (http://www.rollingstone.com/news/newsarticle.asp?afl=mail1&nid=14423) that Rufus Wainwright will open for Tori during "the first month" of the tour. While I am ecstatic that my two fave artists could be found at a single show, I am confused and concerned that Rufus is not playing the later dates...the shows I can actually make it to. Anyone have any speculation about whether or not there is a possibility that Rufus would play the whole tour? Anyone have any advice for making it from New Mexico to one of the earlier Eastern US shows on a tight budget? Aw, gee. I sure would love to see them both. You folks who are going to those shows are really in for a treat!
