So my thoughts are that the thing is finished, it's just not being shipped just yet because... well, just because... who knows how the minds of the people at record companies work? I sure don't! ;) As far as I know, there's not going to be a great difference between this and the VHS version apart from the addition of TVAB videos. It's worth keeping an eye out on dvdpricesearch, as it's perhaps one of the sites that's going to stock it will get a release date... The other day, I got into this discussion about Courtney Love. I was telling someone how a friend of mine got me "into" Hole and I got her "into" Tori. Then I mentioned something about how that was kinda weird, since the two of them don't get along. She didn't know what I was talking about, so I told her I'd tell her about it. Now I've read/heard several different things about it, but can anybody sum up the story for me... well for her? Like why they don't like each other and/or don't get along or whatever. I know it supposedly had something to do with Trent and Kurt. I just don't want to give her bad/wrong info. Thanks for the help! That happens a lot. Someone may have been having a good time and got bid happy, or they were fooling around and never intended to pay. I wouldn't go changing your policy over it either. It's not worth that much and way more than 5 exist. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 04 May 2001 21:56:57 -0500 From: "Andrew Johnson" Subject: About Tori touring in a way she hasn't for a long time... I was just thinking about Tori's comment that she will be touring in a way that she hasn't for a long time for Strange Little Girls. At first it just made me think that she meant solo without a band. But if you really think about she did do quite a few solo piano shows in 99 after the 5.5 Weeks Tour. While many of those solo dates weren't what you might consider an actual show since they often consisted of just a few songs, there were a few longer shows in there. So in a sense she has toured solo recently. This made me think that maybe she will be touring with a band-but without a piano. I know that probably sounds really crazy because when I think of Tori I automatically think of the piano. I'm not sure if this is correct or not but didn't Tori do a some shows with Y Kant Tori Read. I don't ever remember hearing about her playing the piano at those shows (then again maybe I'm wrong). But I thought that maybe that's what she was referring to-the fact that she has toured with the piano for forever and that now she isn't going to. I just wanted to know what other people thought about it. I know it probably sounds pretty stupid but maybe it is a possibilty. Plus, one reason why I don't think she means that it will be just a solo piano tour is because she did work with actual players for the new record and I don't think she would go through all of the work to record a whole album with a band and then relearn the songs so she could play them on the piano (kind of like she did for Juarez). I think it would be interesting to see Tori sing without the piano (although her piano playing is probably the thing I like most about her). Can you imagine her dancing around like Alanis? I can't even begin to picture her standing up and singing. I was just wondering what other people thought. Thanks!
