It's not the hymn titled "Peal Out the Watchword." Hi ya EWF ~ OK, well, I guess NADYNE wasn't paying attention. Unless plans have changed I am unaware of, Tori IS currently recording in the UK and is CLOSE to where a LARGE outbreak of hoof and mouth has occurred. My friend Richard, RTA, who is also in the UK, was pointing out that she may be able to smell/see the burning carcasses from the STUDIO. You are free to find what you want relevant, but personally I'm with Richard, I think it's interesting and had a place on PT. I think of the Wee One being kept indoors, of Tori & Mark spying smoke in the distance and of how this immense death, even if just bovine, could influence the record. I suddenly got a strange feeling about the cover art when I realised that tonight (if it goes ahead - there are big protests) Tori will be able to possibly view (and certainly smell) 30,000 burning cows. Apparently the largest funeral pyre ever seen in Europe. The joys of country life 2001 ..... It's such a beautiful part of the country too, normally. So sad. Cornflake Girl's line - "Rabbit - where'd you put the keys girl" I may totally off my rocker, nothing new there, but I just gotta take that leap. I'm wondering, has anyone read the book "When Rabbit Howls" by Trudie Chase? It's the true story of a woman, Trudie Chase, who was severely mentally, sexually, physically & emotionally abused by a family member since babydom. As a result she develops 92 separate personalities -- AKA MPD -- Multiple Personality Disorder. Now the interesting part - if memory serves - one of her personalities is a little girl named, simply, Rabbit. Rabbit doesn't speak but is Trudies expression of rage and pain through wails, screams and yes - howls. What I most remember about Rabbit is that she likes to take keys and hide them. The book was reprinted in mass market paperback in 1990 though I'm pretty positive it was first released in hardback in the mid-80's. I know its been reported what Rabbit was to Tori but with the timing, and the fact I could SO see Tori reading this book, anyone else think this is possible? Anyone else read this book? Am I remembering correctly? So VERY curious Toodles ~ MysT *** ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V6 #73 ************************************
