That's kind of funny because for a while I have disliked Girl. Maybe it's not the song particularly but just the aura around it. I don't know I can't describe it. Anyway, I think I saw on a fan-site a while ago something that said their were two kind of Tori fans...ones that love Girl and ones that don't. Maybe that's a little cut and dry, but...Anyway, thoughts, ideas, etc? I would kind of like to know what endears a lot of people to that song. I'd buy the real album, but it's expensive from what I have seen of the Belgian sites that sell it. I really can't afford it. But I discovered her cover "Are Friends Electric?" off of a Gary Numan tribute album (which I got off of a discount rack :), and fell in love with it. I had been searching for her album for so long! I had no clue she was from Belgium out of all places, until i finally found an article on her. And, though the article was in some language I couldn't understand, they had an English version of the page! For a CD-R bootleg, you shouldn't pay more than the cost of the blank CDs, a CD case, and artwork. For an absolute worst case, this means eight bucks per disc. There are many people on the Tori-boot mailing list who are more than happy to make copies of their CDs. There are several sorts of "newbie" trades that folks do. You can find out more by subscribing to the list and keeping your eyes open: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tori-boot/ Most trading these days is done on CD-R. However, there are -many- Tori shows that are simply not available on CD-R. There are a number of us who are working on transferring more shows from DAT, minidisc, or cassette to CD-R, but it's a time-consuming process. For some shows, you may not be able to find a CD-R version, if a bootleg even exists. /nm ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 08 Apr 2001 17:42:09 -0400 From: Leif Subject: Fwd: Emaline Delapaix (RE: On The Lookout) Hi EWFs~ Here's another female artists I'm sure a lot of you would probably be interested in after hearing her music at mp3.com.
