It's part of the masochism that song is dealing with. At least that's how I see. BTW, what are folks' spins on the "you're just an empty cage, girl, if you kill the bird" line? fair winds and blue skies to y'all, Tom "I'm an unglamorous person and I don't feel the need to write pretty or be pleasant." Tori does not appear on the track or the CD. It's a VERY Peter Gabriel track, if-ya-know-what-I-mean. "Party Man," track 3 on the CD, is performed by The Worldbeaters & Gabriel. I think the CD is rather odd, but so was the movie. I'm a completist, so I have it in my collection, though nothing on it's really my taste - Uhhh... Traci Lords has a track on the CD - teenage porno queen anyone? For folks who may remember the movie's title but not the plot, here's a quick synopsis: In 1999 Los Angeles, an imprisoned ex-cop (Denzel Washington) is given one last shot at redemption when he's turned loose to track down a virtual killer (Russell Crowe) who has escaped the confines of cyberspace. Computer-generated special effects enhance this thriller from the director of 1992's "The Lawnmower Man."
