It was released in 1971, making it exactly as old as I am. Another good Joni disc is Court and Spark. Has Tori ever recorded A Case of You in the studio? I know she performs it live sometimes, but it's not on any of the singles that I know of. sweet dreams, Tom ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 09 Dec 1999 01:44:15 GMT From: "Tom xxxxx" Subject: shows Hi there, Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I was wondering if there were anymore Tori shows coming up in the next couple of months? Hi kids! I know this has nothing to do w/ the naming of TVaB (that came from having a good wine in ohio w/ a friend, lol). . But i thought this was a fun thought to ponder: So, i'm sitting in astronomy class again today sleeping through a carl sagan video and then its over and my teacher starts discussing it. As soon as he said the word Venus, my head popped up- being my " thirsty for a tori connection" self :) Then he started explaining about this guy Emmanuel Vellacosti (Sorry for my horrible spelling) who had this really interesting theory about Venus. I guess he (or someone else) saw that there was a new bright star in the sky- but obviously turned to be a planet, because it was moving. His theory was that the planet Venus was formed and began travelling through this chaotic orbit, colliding into other planets along the way, and then when it was done it returned back to its original spot- and began orbiting regularly w/ no more collisions. Anyway he wrote a few things on this that turned out to be unpopular amongst the astronomy folk. So anyway that just kinda caught my attention. . you know, know knows? maybe it resembles tori running into different things, but coming full circle. Just a thought to ponder :) Megan SYNCJ05@aol.com *So sure we were on something your feet are just on the ground, girl* ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 9 Dec 1999 17:56:32 EST From: Ankaluv@aol.com Subject: Re: Tori's performance on The View I do miss tori's old school style....that is the way I always see her..but she is still beautiful, nonetheless. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 08 Dec 1999 22:39:15 CST From: "Gate Keeper" Subject: Another Tori Pole Hello everyone, A while ago i attempted to do a pole of everyone's favorite live tori song but i didn't check my email enough and it go too full so some of my messages got deleted. I'm afraid i think that was just a rumour. I just dont understand why people can't leave Trent Reznor alone, as far as rumours go. There's always rumours floating around- they dated in high school, fights with chicken, copious song inspirations... sigh.... :) I would question the source of that tape. its one thing to think something silly like that but its another to spread it around. boo ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 09 Dec 1999 11:50:46 PST From: "crtny" Subject: tori stories video interpretation book shalom! i just wanted to figure out how rare this was, how much you would have to pay for it to get it, how many of you guys have it, you know. its a great little book, pade on construction-like thick paper, with grey squigglies and stuff and red handwriting all throughout it. it supposedly came with special versions of the Complete Video Collection tori put out last year (which is just lovely, i watch it all the time) it is her stories about all of the videos, in a red pen, and all these little diagrams and stuff throughout it. if anybody knows what im talking about, can i get your input? also, does anybody know if there are rumours about tori coming thorugh america on a big tour again, or that her next cd is planned to be mostly piano again, or that she's pregnant for sure? i have an aquaintance who lies quite a bit and she ahs said all these things, and i jsut wanted to know if they were inspired exagurations, or true, or just plain imagination-snacks? i know, im wierd. thank you tori! - -courtney ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V4 #363 *************************************
