["Armani Boy" Subject: Jon Evans not on Choirgirl Hey everybody, I was looking through the liner notes of From The Choirgirl Hotel and was reading the part where they list who played what on each song and was so surprised that Jon Evans wasn't the one who did the bass, instead it was a guy named Justin Medal-Johnson (i think that's how you spell it). I don't know why I haven't noticed this before. I know he did bass on Venus and stuff and I thought he toured on the plugged tour ( he did didn't he). I was very curious as to why he didn't do bass on the actual album. What does everyone think? Tonight I was driving with a few friends of mine, and one of them pointed out that they were playing Tori on the air. I hadn't been paying attention, and turned it up, expecting to hear Bliss, or Spark. The song playing though, was Precious Things, off of the live disc of Venus. Unfortunately, it was cut severely. The beginning was shortened, and everything from after "that doesn't make you jesus" to "every nice girl", was cut out. I was just wondering if anybody else had heard this song getting airtime? Shame on me! Organic Chem is not my strong point--I prefer Biochem...I must've blocked it out....:) For all of you that avoided Organic Chem, Infrared Spectroscopy is used to identify the vibration of bonds of atoms--specifically their stretch, or BEND. The vibration is correlated to frequency and wavelength. If you can figure out what type of bonds you have, you can figure out what atoms make up your molecule. And it all gets printed out on a nice little chart by your nice little instrument. What "chill" has to do with this concept I do not know, but perhaps someone can figure that one out? I will think about it from my end! :) Daisy Melanie daislen@wctc.net "I know the truth LIES in between the first and fortieth drink..."
