The numbers are extremely limited at this point and what I do have left is going quickly. I'm registering people on a first come, first served basis. Visit http://www.torithoughts.org/projects/order.html for details. (That page contains a link to a special e-mail address that's been set up just for these orders.) There are also charts with the shirts/sizes still available and their prices. (After you register, I'll either be sending you a confirmation with full instructions on where to send your payment, or a reply telling you that I'm out of what you want.) As the shirts disappear, I'll do my best to keep the chart listing the sizes still available updated. Baker Baker, Winter and Twinkle...at the same price! £9.99. I was wondering if this is just the two CD's originally issued...if so why are they only selling them for the price of the mis-pressed CD?, or whether this is a new release with all the right tracks in all the right places!?. Would Atlantic be that generous??. :-o A confused squidgy ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Nov 1999 15:53:18 -0500 From: Janet & Jon Haverman Subject: mispressed Glory >> Glory Of The 80's (EP) + 2 Tracks #1 >> CD Single contains title track plus Blue Raincoat (Live) andTwinkle (Live) >> AB-CD price $9.97 >> Glory Of The 80's (EP) + 2 Tracks #2 >> 10/15/99 - CD Single #2 contains title track plus Baker Baker (Live) and >> Winter (Live) >> AB-CD price $9.97 >> ************* Glory of the 80's CD singles have been recalled by WEA UK! >> Soon to be a major collectors item! >> The CDs were mispressed and the tracks are flipflopped on each disc... in >> other words whats on disc 1 is actually on disc 2 and vice-a-versa. >> Bill, from under the AB-CDome my CD1 has the correct tracks, my CD2 is the one mispressed. It has the Blue Raincoat and Twinkle songs like CD1, but lists Baker Baker and Winter. Then the teacher said something that caught my attention.... he said, " Well, Jupiter almost made it " And then he went on to explain how jupiter almost changed into a star or something, blah blah but anyway... Then a little connection ran though my mind about hey jupiter. I began to interpret the song that this guy she is probably talking about couldnt fit the expectations she had for him, or things didnt turn out the way she expected they would. "hey jupiter nothings been the same".... you know? She's trying to reason with why things turned out the way they did "are you gay, are you blue, thought we both could use a friend to run to". And thats where the planet jupiter comes in... It was *almost* a star. Anyway, just another one of my wierd little thoughts! Hope that might've made some sense!
