But I have been listening! Anyway, I was recently given one of the promo copies of Y Kant Tori Read by a very dear friend of mine (who also has a promo copy). She paid $75 for her copy several years ago, and found mine for only $9.99!!!! Obviously the store had no clue what they were selling. I never thought I would own a copy, but now that I do, I'm desperate for some basic information. I know that the promotional copies are easier to find than the actual store released copies....but that's about it. How many of these are supposed to be around? What are they supposed to be worth (not that I would EVER sell mine)? Any basic info would be helpful. Thanks a bunch!!! ~~Jolie ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 03 Nov 1999 19:25:07 +0000 From: "squidgy" Subject: Re: Q mention Whups, I also forgot to mention, having only read half the magazine at this point, that there is also a rather long and favourable review and an iccle interview for one of the solo Tori concert's that took place in Seattle recently. - ---------- >From: "squidgy" >To: precious-things@smoe.org >Subject: Q mention >Date: Tue, Nov 2, 1999, 23:23 > > > Just a quickie to say that Tori's album "Little Earthquakes' is mentioned in > December's issue of the UK 'Q' magazine as one of the best albums of '92, > they say; > > Tori Amos > Carrying the Kate Bush torch to Alanis Morrisette. > > What we said then; "Disturbing, funny, sexy. I understand that it contains a disc identical to CD1, but the artwork is different. Anyway, I don't live in the UK, but I would still want to have a copy of this CDsingle. Could anyone pick it up for me? I will reward you of course. Kind regards, Marcel Rijs mfgr@casema.net marcel@kimwilde.com (The address at Plex will soon disappear!)
