I know it's Clairol and that Tori used it but I don't believe I've seen it locally. Oh yeah: in the new line Revlon has, the Super Lustrous line, there's a color called Copper Sparks!! I think that's neat. They need a Raspberry Swirl highlighting kit too. :) I may try Copper Sparks...for now I'll stick w/ Hydrience coral reef...I have to endorse the nice folks at Clairol there b/c they make me look beautiful. *lol* So if anybody can tell me how to find Torrid Torch, please do...thanks. I've found that Feria red is an excellent dye, with great conditioners and a perfumed smell to cover the amonia stench. On my dark brown hair I got dark red with carroty, copper highlights. There is a page somewhere out there that has song stats, and would tell you what shows she played it. Then you could ask if anyone has boots of that concert. I don't know why she doesn't play it, but if it were my work, I'd find it disturbing. It's about pre-independence, when everyone else counts more than yourself. I'd want to leave those feelings behind once I found myself. Perhaps that's how Tori feels. Just a thought. I have only been able to find it in beauty supply stores that sell hairdye for professional use ... meaning its only the dye and doesn't come in a package with gloves, instructions and developer (the white stuff) ... and therefore you really have to know what you are doing. But I can tell you since I've been dyeing my hair red for 6 years - all different kinds of red. You will need to buy a bottle of developer (called Clairol Professional Pure white) make sure it's 20 volume and a dye bottle. Pour the color into the bottle first and then add exactly twice that amount (there are measuring things on the sides) of developer. And leave it on for about 40 minutes. I used this color and personally it left my hair a bit too orange for my liking and I used it combined with another color from the torrids collection (there are literally a dozen really cool reds) for a while. Right now I am using a mixture of Koleston Burning red and Ruby red - if any of you can find this dye try it - it's awesome. (it's main words are in spanish so if there are any hispanic supermarkets in your area - try those) Anyways, if anyone needs any further advice on hair dye - let meknow and I'll try to help you --- and if you really really want I can get you a few bottles of torrids and ship them to you. good luck! :) ~~*joanne ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 7 Mar 1999 20:58:58 EST From: Cindy26471@aol.com Subject: Re: song word definitions well, I'm sure someone has already mentioned this, but I thought that part of the reason Henry married/divorced/had all these women killed was b/c he wanted a male heir to the throne. Therefore, I took "she said 1 + 1 = 2, but Henry said that it was 3 so it was, here I am" to mean that Henry saw the whole point of their union to be to produce an offspring, not to just be together. Okay, this is my absolute favorite Tori song. It has a lot of meaning for me too. But I did want to mention that she did play it this tour. Of course, she didn't play it until after the shows that *I* went to, but oh well. I think the first show she played it at was Lowell, MA. I don't know the date. She played it their solo, I think. And after that, she also played it with the band. I haven't heard it at all with the band. I soooo want to hear it. I have never heard it live at all either. I don't know why she doesn't play it very often. If anyone has a boot of Lowell and of one of the shows that she played it with the band, I'd be extremely interested in a trade.
