I am going to the Columbia SC show, except the only thing is, Idont have tickets. Does anyone know if this venue will sell tickets the day of the show? And what kind of seats will I most likely get (like, really bad or really good)? I know lots of people have had really good luck in buying tickets from the venue the day of the show, but im just wondering if its kind of a rule that most venues hold tickets for the day of the show to sell or do only some venues do this? Id appreciate any feed back. Thanks Heidi _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? She even said that they hadn't tried this on the tour yet and that the band was going to have to pull her through it. the crowd was very much into the show, dancing, singing along. the only part where i thought they were out of line was during the last song, Song For Eric (!), the fans wouldn't stop screaming "Play Silent All These Years Tori!!!" "We love you Tori!" I just thought that it was such a beautiful song and having someone scream in your ear just takes away from the experience a bit. Well, that's my humble review, hope you enjoyed it. When "Precious Things" first came on, other girls began running up to the stage, and Sara grabbed my hand and ran up to the stage with me. However, the security guard tried to stop us...JUST US...out of like 30 girls...and I yelled at him (whoops). I was like "HEY! Why are you holding just US back...you'd better move out of my way before you regret it!" and Sara was yelling something and trying to pull me ahead. I feel kind of bad for yelling at him....but hey, it's Tori :) loveintori, Vicki ToriPyro@aol.com "i can never get out of here i don't want to just float in fear dead astronaut in space" - marilyn manson serial killers and teddy bears welcomed at: http://travel.to/desolate.winters ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 25 Sep 1998 10:26:58 -0400 (EDT) From: fuzzbox@world.std.com (Miss Chanandler Bong) Subject: Re: INVITING at concerts Marla typeth: > girls...ick) Some girl kept crying and yelling at him because she wanted > to put something on the stage and then walk away but he wouldn't let her > - she was in the sixth row. I don't remember it word for word, but here's what I wrote in my review of the show for ATN (which, curiously, is not up on the Dent, and which, also curiously, I can't seem to find on ATN right now): She then took a break to complain how the vast expanse of the Paramount's orchestra pit had divided her from her fans. "It's like the parting of the Red Sea or something," she explained, asking her stagehands why fans couldn't be up against the stage. "Oh," she responded. "The fireman says no." Her answer to that was another cover, this time of Bruce Springsteen's "I'm On Fire," with a force and tenderness that could make The Boss' American flag burn to cinders. If I remember correctly, I wrote that down as she said it, so it's pretty much verbatim, including that she played "I'm On Fire" in response to the fire marshall's decree. That do for ya, Richard? :) Beth - -- "Some boy you are to wear my color red to wear it very proudly wear it like a lady knows how to cross her legs...
