In my Head Home on the Range Honey (yes, tis got honey :) ) Humpty Dumpty Mary Ode to the Banana King Sister Janet Song for Eric Sugar Sweet Dreams Take to the Sky ____ IMO, as a piano player, I think it's worth the investment. I'm hopeless at playing by ear, so I've gotta get the music. It's worth it on a couple of counts. I finally got to know what the lyrics were for some of these songs (like Sugar), and there's a couple of rarities, such as Etienne and Baltimore ("Not Baltimore? You can't be serious!" - Tori in a concert somewhere, I think Berlin). If you've got the spare cash, pick it up. It's worth it. Dani. PS small note: like most of Tori's other piano books, much of the piano solos are left out :(. Here in My Head is similar to the studio version, and so doesn't contain much improv. at all. That's always my rant about Tori's piano books: they usually contain the *basic* transcription, but don't "elaborate" in the music (Precious Things and Cornflake Girl being examples). It's like "Tori's music for beginners", I suppose. :) HTH. == danielle "the house-chew-relian rabid hugger" ringrose fadagurl@torithoughts.org http://www.uq.net.au/~zzdringr/ <== new URL "Don't worry about the world ending today. Needless to say, she didn't put it in, and the DJ just HAPPENED to not have the remix cd, so what do they do?...put in Boys For Pele. I'm sitting, talking to my sister's friend who is also a close friend of mine, and all of a sudden, I hear the first few measures of PW from the album, and my heart just stops beating. I run up to the DJ (after she had gotten past "stag shit") and went "no no! quick! turn it off! this song is unedited! my sister is going to get pissed off and embarrassed!" and all of a sudden you hear "starrrrr fuckahhhhh, just like...." and the girl looks at me like "oh, that's bad...i'll change it" and i started to say how it was coming up again and "staarrrrrr fuckerrrr" blasts through the hall again. i think we can all imagine the look i received from my father. luckily, most of my family did not understand one word of the song...still...it was pretty funny. but there was a bad side to it...i went to sit back down with Kathy, a friend of my sister and myself, and i quickly glanced to the DJ's (a guy and a girl...like 25y/o) and they were reading the lyric booklet...and they were LAUGHING! Not like snickering, just really rudely laughing. It kind of upset me because that isn't really a very "hilarious" song...I mean, they were cackling...it was really sick. still, that's my little adventure...needless to say, they didnt' play any tori after that...and i wonder if they will ever again. i watched Live In New York today and I wanted to ask...it seems like DDI Boulder and this show were SOMEWHAT similar because of her similar wackiness during "Caught A Lite Sneeze" or "Precious Things"...but was anyone here at the K-ROQ Almost Acoustic Xmas? What was that performance like? I know when she played that she was in TN and hadn't played it for a long time. I don't know when she first played Landslide though... There are a few songs missing on that list. It slipped my mind on my last reply and I'm sure it did too to the person who originally posted the list. Here are some of the ones that are missing: - -Graveyard Available on: Caught A Lite Sneeze US CD Maxi Single, UK Cassette single. - -This Old Man Available on: Caught A Lite Sneeze US CD Maxi Single, UK CD Pt. 1.
