If you hear anything else about the future of her current tour then I'd suggest treating that as unconfirmed info: not necessarily wrong but not necessarily right either. 1) The current tour schedule extends to September 27 where Tori will play a show in Phoenix. After Arizona Tori will head to New Mexico and Texas; no cities or dates have been announced yet but I'm hoping to get some news on that by the end of this week. Tori will then possibly hit Oklahoma, Arkansas, and a few other unspecified Southern states. 2) It is hoped that Tori will then be able to do a tour of US colleges. The college tour is not yet certain and no locations or dates have been announced or even suggested. If such a college tour happens then it would most likely be in the East and Midwest and would target schools that are NOT located in or near major metropolitan areas. If you want Tori to come to your school then please have the theater manager go through the usual booking process, I can't pass along requests to have Tori do a show at your school. :) 3) There are no current plans to return to Europe. Nor are there any plans to tour South America, Australia, Africa, Asia, or Antartica. That does not mean she won't ever tour on those continents, it just means her management doesn't have any current specific plans concerning future concerts in those areas. :( -Greg Burrell The Official Tori Amos Fanzine News Editor http://www.toriamos.org Really Deep Thoughts ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 27 Jul 1998 17:30:10 EDT From: ToriPyro@aol.com Subject: To All Toriphiles In New York It's around noon-ish now and I'm signing off to go get ready. I think it's because Tori is so openminded and that's what a lot of gay people need because there are so many people that are homophoebics and such and it's like they're all people and Tori realizes this, she realizes that the gay community are people too and they should be treated like people which a lot of other musicians don't realize, and in many interviews she has said that she has many gay friends. ..which could have something to do with it. And the reason people may assume you're gay is just because people who aren't openminded and haven't listened to a lot of her music don't realize that she doesn't play for one genre of people...a lot of people I know assume Tori is a lesbian because of some of her lyrics and so they assume that if she's gay, she plays for only the gay community so if you listen to her music you must be gay. I am also sorry if I offended anyone, but this is all imho. I hope I helped some.
