There is a boot titled 'Covered' which has this and many of the bands favorite other tracks by other bands/artists. Incuding a special guest appearance by Marillion's Steve Hogarth and Steve Rothery. Original plans were for the band to release this special gig on video, but it never happened. Getting releases aren't the easiest thing to do! But, a few of the songs made it out on b-side/ep. Not the cover of WINTER though, which is amazingly strong. I have a copy on tape, mainly because I think Marillion is the greatest band in the world. last week I found the Canadian LIVE FROM NY video at a store here in Cleveland. They had over 10 on the shelf. 'cos that's what it sounds like when I read some posts. Like it was mentioned before, the BFP singles can be bought everywhere online, as well as releases such as Winter, Cornflake Girl etc. Or is buying such a bootleg, just your way of spiting the record industry? Seeing how available some of these items are, I really don't see a reason for buying a beesides-bootleg like "Somewhere over the Rainbow" (BFP compi)... same goes for the RAINN recording. And no, lack of $$ isn't a good excuse, since your hard-earned money just goes to someone (and his attorneys if you want) who had the resources to burn a bunch of songs on a CD. >> Yes, lack of money is a good excuse, I don't have the money to buy all those damn single that are no longer being published, epecially now that that we're charged more for them since they are worth more. I usually just sit back and take everything in, but this dream I had has pushed me out. Well, see, I quit smoking two weeks ago and I'm using the patches, which make me have VERY vivid dreams. Needless to say, I've been sleeping my life away. On to the Tori dream.... I was back in my hometown, and my Mom told me that she had to go clean the church, and she asked me if I wanted to go. I said I would, and she said she had to make a stop to drop off a key to this lady that was renting the church during the week. We pulled up to this HUGE house and rang the doorbell. Who do you think answered the door? Tori of course! I was so shocked, but it gets a little fuzzy there. I guess I must have said something to her, and she asked me if I wanted to hang out for awhile. Wild horses couldn't have held me back, so my Mom left. Tori and I were just sitting around talking about nothing in particular, and then her new husband came walking down the stairs. Funny thing is, I remember being a little annoyed because Tori and I were in the middle of a conversation and he interrupted. So she walked over and kissed him, and then he said, "Didn't you even show her around? Give her the tour of the place." Tori smiled, shook her head, then she turned toward me and pulled me through this door-way. Suddenly the place turned into a castle sort of. There were all these corridors and stuff. It was really dark. She was showing me around, telling me what everything was, then we got to this huge room that was just full of arcade games. There was a whole wall devoted to pinball (my favorite). I was like, "Wow." Tori kind of giggled and asked me if I wanted to play. I said I did, and she said, "Well, we're having a party tonight, and I have to go get ready. You play until your little heart is content, and then come on back for the party." I just nodded. I played pinball for quite awhile, and then I went up the stairs (that weren't there before) to where Tori and the guests were. Tori was sitting on this chair, there were two other sofas full of people, and then there was another chair that was empty, so I went and sat in the chair. Tori started playing this song. What's strange is that she was playing the (gasp!) guitar instead of the piano! It didn't seem so weird in my dream. I don't remember anything about the song except that it was beautiful. I looked over and saw that a childhood friend I haven't seen in about 8 years was sitting on one of those sofas. I realized at that point that there was a single tear running down my face. Another followed it. Tori finished her song and came over to me. She bent down on her knees, wiped a tear from my face, and asked me what was wrong. I told her the song was so beautiful. She kind of tilted her head, raised an eyebrow, and asked me if that's why I was crying--because the song was so beautiful. "No," I said, "It's just that there's so much you've done for me. There's so many times you've made me feel so good, I wish there was something I could say to you." She smiled, gave me a big hug, and whispered in my ear, "You just did." Then she asked me if she could play another song. I said, "please do." Shortly after that, my alarm clock went off, so I didn't get to finish the dream if there was any more to it. A shrink would have a field day analyzing that one, huh? That whole thing about Tori playing the guitar is so obvious, but I didn't have any idea how anxious I was about Tori playing with a band. The things our unconscious can tell us! Anyway, sorry this is so long.
