Having had multiple American radio stations playing the song to a few lucky Americans, why are we, in the rest of the World, so unfortunate not getting to hear this song? 2. People who have "Spark" in MP3, WAV, RealAudio etc. format, can do something for us: a. Register some Webspace at one of those free providers (www.xoom.com, www.fortunecity.com, www.geocities.com to name but a few) anonymously or with a fake ID if possible b. Upload the file and make a simple page not referring to your own email address of course. c. Let us know about it! I wonder what Atlantic would do if 100 Webpages featured "Spark" on them. That's a hell of a lot of research! In case anyone doubts my motivation: I want to hear the song! _Of_course_ I will buy the single, CD, tape, and any other format that comes out, but I want to hear it dammit! My 2 Guilders... BTW, What's up with the tour dates postings these last few digests? If the concert in Den Haag, June 10th are unconfirmed, why do I have tickets for them? And finally, Tori was reported to have carpal tunnel syndrome in 1994 during the tour. Has she ever commented on that? Have the symptoms ever returned? If > the concert in Den Haag, June 10th are unconfirmed, why do I have > tickets for them? Exactly. In May of 1996 Wolf Trap Farm Park in Vienna, Virginia, was selling tickets by mail to an August 16 Tori concert, and there was no word from Tori's side that it was confirmed. I bought mine, nonetheless. Ah, the mysteries of life. > And finally, Tori was reported to have carpal tunnel syndrome in 1994 > during the tour. Has she ever commented on that? I'm not really sure, but those rumors are not accurate. (Shock and dismay, I know. A rumor not being accurate and everything. Wow.) Tori's wrist problem is not CTS. It's more like arthritis. It's maybe not technically arthritis, but it's a joint thing, not a muscle/tendon/nerve thing. I can't really tell how I know that, so if some folks don't want to believe it then I'll understand. And yes, it's always an ongoing struggle with her. Thank goodness Beenie was on tour last time as her masseuse. Beenie can get her back in shape pretty fast after she's had a flare-up. Beenie, Beenie, Beenie. Love that Beenie. I think she's fantastic. I may start a Beenie mailing list, I love her so much. Recently Mikewhy had a feature photo up on his start-up screen on The Dent which seemed to be from the '94 tour, and Tori could be seen with a brace on her wrist. She wears that sometimes, so her problem isn't exactly anything she's tried to hide. She really needs to be careful with her wrist *and* with her voice. She has to play and sing though, so she's left with the option of taking as good care as possible of both those things. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for her to succeed. I was sitting hear listening to FIRE ON THE SIDE, Jerry Maguire was on the TV, and it was the scene where the two main characters break up. I started thinking, that song is so perfect for a movie. It is one of my fave YKTR songs. Hmm, sorry if this is boring, just waiting for Atlantic to finally give us a preview of Choirgirl Hotel. I'm suprised they still haven't posted song clips. Ummm.... I don't know... I can't really just take this one song and suddenly proclame it the most "emotional" one, but I guess I have some ideas, anyway, here I will name a few ones that I hold really close to my heart and that really touch me whenever I listen to them, especially when there are certain situations going on in my life, like, right now for example. :0(. But I have to say to all the "girls" that I love them with all my heart. Ok, here I go: * Crucify * Precious Things * Winter * China * Me And A Gun * God * Cornflake Girl * The Waitress * Icicle * Blood Roses * Marianne * Caught A Lite Sneeze * Hey Jupiter * Putting The Damage On * Doughnut Song * Live To Tell (live) (BTW, Thank you with all my heart Danica, this comes from a huge Madonna fan, what you do is great, ;)) Whew. That was a long list. I guess I just love them all. Love you guys, Giovanni "If I ran away, I'd never have the strength to go very far, how would they hear the beating of my heart?" They are the ones who are getting Spark pulled. Most of the time, it's some of the people at Atlantic who leak information to certain web sites, before putting it up on their own. Yeah, everything says 'Atlantic' but only because Atlantic is a division of Warner Bros. My source for this info? Someone I know off the Havens who works for Warner Bros.
