For instance, the Dave Matthews song "So Much to Say" was supposed to be his "coming out" song and the guy just got married. Songs are very relative as well as everything else in this world! I'm sure I'm not saying anything new when I say that Tori is a very deep musician and only a select few really and truly appreciate her for what she is and what she is trying to say. But this is okay because Tori should be appreciated in all aspects including just liking the sound!!!! I mean it seriously makes me appreciate that fact that if i have noone to go to a tori show with, my mom will go with me cause she considers tori 'folk music' and can stand listening to her, where as if i wanna go see nin, she wouldn't go. No change in hell for that. When i was strapped with two tickets to see sarah i tried to convince my mom to go with 'she's mellow you'll like her' but nontheless she didn't believe me till after the show i turned on vh1 and there was a special on the Lilith Fair and i told her who sarah was....then she regretted NOT going to the concert with me. Its funny tho, cause my mom doesn't really *get* the inside lyrics to things. Not saying anything bad about this (i don't want to offend anyone) but she does listen to mainly country music and most of it out there are stories but they are *direct* stories, so they initially say 'hey you know what, my boyfriend dumped me and now i have nowhere to turn', wherein tori would say 'guess its me, and me'. Does that make sense? So, though she will listen to alot of what i am (tori, sarah, jewel, etc...) i will have to explain alot of lines to her, which is fun, i feel like im filling my mom's head with vauble info :) Danica - -- http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Towers/5612/torimp3.html - - Tori Amos: A Realm of Mp3's Website ....In my heart stirs a quiet passion http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Towers/5612/glittermain.html All That Glitters....Is Sour (yes that be a homepage) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 05 Mar 1998 21:35:22 PST From: "Violet Anastasia" Subject: Re: That Track Listing >From: STAR982 >Date: Wed, 4 Mar 1998 23:25:48 EST >To: rlones@juno.com, precious-things@smoe.org >Subject: Re: That Track Listing >Reply-To: STAR982 > > >BTW, can someone remind me when tori's first tv appearence is? Oh well, I'm new here, somebody probably posted this months ago. It was like, from right when she first started recording.
