I never new this much hunting and searching and curiosity of an albums details were SOOO important! Well, the release date and stuff is nice, but the track listings and the album title are kinda too far. I would like to go to the record store and kinda be suprised! Well, im still giddy about the whole thing, but it spoils me sometimes. Any ways, i think that the song Pandora's Aquarium will be very intersting! I mean thing of it.Like Pandora, i think, means mystery and curiosity, mixed with an aquarium! How cool will that be? I know the vocalizations will be great and there will probably be mega percussion parts How neat Dave Pandora's Aqarium - - AKA - Petals of The Blood Rose ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 4 Mar 1998 23:19:59 -0500 (EST) From: Richard Handal Subject: Re: Thespoiling of a Tori Album . . . There's nothing exclusive to the internet about being able to see track listings, or at least a lot of the song titles before a record is released. Print reviews do that, too. And the same rule applies with not reading spoiler reviews of records and films--if you don't want to, you don't have to. But if you don't want to, you're *definitely* in the wrong place. :-) One brief comment on the listed tracks before I go. Upon seeing the titles Black-Dove (January) and Raspberry Swirl I immediately thought of Prince. Just a small observation floating in space with no added meaning. So I'm chiming in and suggest we all write to VH1 and demand it. How do you think "Unplugged" happened? So one of you smartypants must have the addy for VH1 that you could post for us to start bombarding VH1? As far as tv shows, Oprah would be great for RAINN, but I'd love to see Tori kick ass on Bill Mahers' *Politically Incorrect* late night show. Have the pols and journalists up against Tori and her other worldliness. :) That would be ultra awesome!!! I thought the very same when I first saw the track list!!! I wonder if there might be a little influence with these songs. BTW--I understand Arthur Spivak(sp?) was Prince's manager at the time he picked up Tori. Wonder if that might have anything to do with it? More random observations and really deep thoughts. Alright Toriphiles, here is what you need to do, email Vh1 and request that tori be on the show storytellers. The email is Shows@vh1.com Please follow what they say (im sure this would play a part in getting it on the air if this is possible) It says this on the Vh1 website (www.vh1.com) - ------------------ Do you have a question or comment about a show that's currently on VH1? Put the show title in the subject of your email message for a quick response and send it along. - ------------------ I've just emailed them the following letter: Being a fan of your show Storytellers, I am writing in request to have someone on this show speaking for myself and also for the Tori fan community out there. I think that it would not only be beneficial to your network but to the fans and possible new fans out in musicland. My request is for Tori Amos to be on this show. My reasons for this being: 1) Her fourthcoming solo album will be coming out in May and it would be great publicity for the album 2) Tori is very profound, and leanring a bit more about her songs would mean a great deal to many people. 3) Tori is insightful, witty, and a wonderful musician..she has inspired many many people in the world and her fans truly adore her for her honesty in her music, among a number of countless things. I hope you will consider this request, Thank you... Danica - ------------------- SO lets get together guys and make this happen! *crosses fingers* TAG Bethey, YOUR IT!
