According to CD Universe, Atlantic Records is coming out with an album on March 10 called "Atlantic Records 50 Years: The Gold Anniversary Collection", and will contain SATY on the second disc of the studio two-disc set. CD-5" in a store like tower records in april or > whatever...? thanx A "CD-5" is your normal single. A "ltd CD-5" is a limited edition CD-5. The really good limited edition singles are released in the UK, and some of them are worth a -lot- right now. {Examples: the Crucify with the art prints is going for upwards of $100 these days. The Cornflake Girl with "If 6 Was 9" and "Strange Fruit" is going for upwards of $50 these days.} The only US limited edition single was Winter -- and while it's an absolutely incredible disc, it must've been limited to less than 10 copies per man, woman, child, and flea. "Limited edition" just means that there is a set number of copies they'll press, and once they're gone, that's it. Sometimes the limited edition is really limited {as in the cases of the UK singles}, sometimes they're not {US Winter}. When the single is first released, you can most likely pick them up at Tower Records, Blockbuster Music, Circuit City, whatever. You may wish to order it from someone {although I would never ever recommend IGG} to ensure that you have it if you're a completist; if you're not, you might just want to wait and see if there are any songs released on it that aren't available elsewhere. The UK singles for a song usually come in two parts: one single is released that is limited edition, one single is released that is not. For example, there were two UK CaLS singles and two UK Talula singles. In each, one was a limited edition and one was not. I will say that both discs of the UK Talula are still relatively easy to come by. {Didn't realise that that simple of a question would lead to this long of a response, did you? ;) } /nad *************************************************************************** * Nadyne Mielke, CS majour, Southern Tech, Marietta, GA * * * * "I regret to say that we of the FBI are powerless to act in cases of * * oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate * * commerce.
