Discussions of Tori's beliefs and how those beliefs are reflected in her music are welcome on the list. General discussions about religion, intolerance, clothing as a statement or other topics only loosely related to Tori belong elsewhere. Just a reminder. Perhaps we as Spacedog fans should do a worldwide petition via internet and letters to demand this song to air as a hit. Maybe it should be done around the time that Tori releases her last single off her upcoming album and have all the money go to spay and nueter charity programs. And the video should have Tori fighting space aliens! I doubt it, I wrote here to tell people to look for it and not one word was mentioned since. Weren't the close-ups of Tori wonderful!!! btw, E! repeats the heck out of all specials. It's E1 Behind The Scenes: Great Expectations. 1/2 hour show :30-:40 w/ Tori. I shouldn't have classified "Rainbow" as a children's song. It means so much more to one who can appreciate the meaning that the words convey, more so than any child could understand. I guess I kinda realize this after our US History teacher assigned us to watch the movie and write all the symbolism we saw relating to the 1890-1900's and the populist movement. I guess I was just so used to imitating Judy as a child and all the respect I have for her as performer, I wrongly classified it as a childs song... tee hee I'm sorry/ But I do strongly agree with her singing styles and intamacy with the audience, its just reaally saddening(sp) that she was exploited by MGM and other companys. It's really sad that all the stress she suffered finally caught up with her and resulted in her premature demise. ***sniff*** I really liked Judy Garland. =\ Thank you Richard for pointing that out! Much appreciative! Laura =D ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V3 #51 ************************************
