Yes totally! Although I can't say I've ever noticed Tigger saying TTFN, but it sounds appropriate. Yeah, there's something about Winnie the Pooh that's very Tori, I'm not quite sure what. Or could it be that Winnie the Pooh is very Delerium (as in Sandman) and therefore this makes it very Tori. I don't know, but it rocks all the same. The fellow who began the first Tori mailing list on the internet in May, 1992, Anthony Kosky, is totally into Pooh. He used to have his internet account at UPenn set so when you fingered his account there, a script would display one of a hundred quotes from Pooh. And then, there's his good friend, Edward T. Bear. I wonder if he ever introduced Edward to Tori. :-) Be seeing you, Richard Handal, H.G. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Aug 1997 17:41:43 +0930 From: FLOOD <9606523y@MAGPIE.MAGILL.UNISA.EDU.AU> Subject: Re: Signature Blocks On Sat, 23 Aug 1997 AnaisBleu@aol.com wrote: > In a message dated 97-08-22 14:55:04 EDT, Angela wrote: > > << would really appreciate if someone would let me know how to create a > signature blocks on the end of my messages. > Thanks, >> > i would love to know how to do this also! > -rae > Okay well it really depends on what mail-program you use. If you just use Netscape Mail (and I think Eudora) there should be a thingy in the config menus which states something like "location of sig file". So what you do is use notepad or something to make up a little sig file for yourself, save it somewhere on your hard drive, preferabbly as a text file. Then go to the aforementioned config menu, and type in the location of that file in the menu. It's that easy. I first heard TTFN and picked it up from "Winnie-the-Pooh and Tigger, Too" (which Raven mentioned) back in '74. Anyone who knows, please let me > know! There was only one pressing of YKTR, and it certainly didn't involve any songs that she released later. :) This is a counterfeit that's not even trying to look legit. There are, however, some counterfeits that are trying to look legit -- for more info on them, check out the YKTR FAQ at: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/alley/4370/yktrfaq.html A -real- YKTR CD will go for around $100 opened, $150 unopened, and probably above $200 if it's still in the longbox. I've seen them for insanely high prices at record shows, but the prices I've mentioned above are what I've seen recently {within the past six months} in online auctions and such. /nad *************************************************************************** * Nadyne Mielke, CS majour, Southern Tech, Marietta, GA * * * * "I regret to say that we of the FBI are powerless to act in cases of * * oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate * * commerce. Hi, all . . . You know, Pooh and his companions completely compliment Tori in every way. From what I've picked up, she is such a child-like munchkin that can relate anything to a fairy tale in any way. And Pooh has such a wonderful set of complex friends that, well, anyone could find themselves in one of them. I'm more of the Eeyore type. Well, I've been going nuts spending money on our woman lately but I've picked up some great cd's. I discovered a cd entitled "Goddess", which has recording of Tori live in radio stations performing "Hey, Jupiter", "Thunder Road", "Doughnut Song", "Maryanne", "Sugar", "Putting the Damage On", and others. It also has her performing on David Letterman singing "Crucify" and "Cornflake Girl" with Paul Schaffer and his band backing her up. It sounds great, which leads me to think that it would be an aesthetically pleasing thing to see her with a big back up band for her next tour. People were talking about that a while back but I haven't posted in a while. Well, have a lovely day and talk to you soon. OH! and I was wondering if anyone had the address for the Tori page with all of the song interpretations coming straight from her mouth. I've checked it out, it was amazing, and I'd really like the address again because I don't remember it.
