I thought tori-boots *was* a trading list because most (around 90%) of the posts was about trade/shows/bootlegs when I was a subscriber. I don't know, my mind has been off flying around in the universe these last couple of days. I hope I didn't sound spiteful in my last post about the trading stuff. Anyway, have a good one. I mean I love UTP to death, but BFP not so much. I don't even have a copy of it any more. So yeah I'm waiting nervously hoping hoping hoping that I will like the new album. I mean despite my dislike for BFP Tori is still an absolute goddess, I have faith in what she does and yeah she just dominates anyway. Yeah, at some point months ago they actually closed down a couple of stores here for a few days while the pigs went through all the inventories to decide what was illegally bootlegged material and they *confiscated* all of the good stuff. The stores have been very careful since then, they must have lost a *lot* of revenue those days they were closed, and when they reopened, their shelves were practically empty. I almost cries when I went to Generation and saw the carnage. :\ If only I had known, I would have spent a *while* lot of $$ on CD's the day before... *sigh* Pocketgoth Extraordinaire, - --DarkMelody ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ^v^ ++++++Poesis Est Vinum Daemonium++++++ dkmelody@bway.net + www.bway.net/~dkmelody I don't believe you're leaving 'cause me and Charles Manson like the same ice cream ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 20 Aug 1997 19:20:11 -0400 (EDT) From: Nadyne Mielke Subject: Re: Last DDI show date On Wed, 20 Aug 1997, gerryjd wrote: > Does anyone know when the last DDI show was, I know it was in Boulder, > CO. There is a boot CD of this show entitled "Dew Drop Inn Boulder", which has all of that show and highlights from the previous night. It's a 2 CD set, and I highly recommend it. I was looking @ Tori's site on Atlantic Records' web site, and I found the following snippet: "The new Igloo Records label was founded by Atlantic recording artist Tori Amos and her manager, Arthur Spivak. The label's recordings will be marketed and distributed worldwide by The Atlantic Group, with the self-titled debut album from Los Angeles-based band Pet album being released via Atlantic's TAG division. "PET" is Igloo's first release, and was Executive Produced by Ms. Amos." What is all this about? Does anyone know of any other Igloo albums? Are they Tori-like in sound?
