Also, someone posted this about the perfect lineup of BfP: >1. leave the original Professional Widow there I strongly agree. >2. change Hey Jupiter to the dakota version I disagree with this. Hey Jupiter is such a powerful song either way, but I think that the origional is more fitting of the mood. the Dakota Version is sort of depressing, in my humble opinion... >3. change Talula to the tornado version Agree >4. change Putting the Damage On to the twilight mix I must say I STRONGLY disagree with this. Both "Crucify" and "Hey Jupiter" are the remixed versions of the songs. Also, I think you'll love "Hey Jupiter". It's like one of the greatest EP's *ever* ... right up there with "Cornflake Girl". As a matter of fact, "Putting the Damage On" is my favorite song on BfP. But have you heard the Twilight Mix? It manages to breathe even more life into an already amazing song ... Kind of makes me feel a bit better about the current state of my apartment! that poll - i'm doing this from memory, so if i get the questions wrong, i'm sorry... what got me into tori? a long time ago, mtv did a 1 hr thing on her...she played some stuff live they showed her new video (saty) and john norris asked a bunch of silly questions. I immediately went out and bought the cd and put up with years of abuse from my punk friends for liking that "whiny girl." the tori song that does it for me - it's changes weekly, but right now i would have to say here, in my head, bells for her, or blood roses. as you can see, i have trouble narrowing it down to just one.. what i do - i'm 22 yrs old and am currently attending Carnegie Mellon University, and also work for an answering service. i am frightengly obsessed with the music i listen to, so in my free time i drive an insane distance to see bands that i like. i won't even tell you how many miles i put on my poor car for the DDI tour. = ) finally... my understanding of the song 'twinkle' is that tori is/was friends with a person who committed murder...I'm wondering if the bridge of 'past the mission' has something to do with the same person? maybe? this is the longest post i have ever sent to a mailing list, jennifer feel safe inside inside those well drawn lines boyfriend, a car, a job, my white girl life She swallowed a spider to catch, to catch that fly I don't know why she swallowed that lie - Sleater-Kinney ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V2 #215 *************************************
