The correct spelling of the name is Issey Miyake (for any who are interested), but I don't think he is a designer. You're thinking of Isaac Mizrahi. I would assume that Issey is someone pretty important though since he is the only one that she thanks. - --Allyson-- ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Jul 1997 20:50:27 -0500 From: hurricane ana Subject: Re: winter >but I don't think he is a designer. yes he is, and i bet he designed that wacky silver thing she's wearing. - -------------------------------- i can't believe in i won't believe in i don't believe in y o u . . . http://www.whid.net/anastasia/ - -------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Jul 1997 03:01:29 +0000 From: "Paranoid Geordie" Subject: Re: winter > From: Allyson Widdis > Subject: Re: winter > To: precious-things@smoe.org (Precious Things Mailing List) > Date: Sat, 12 Jul 97 20:31:22 EDT > Reply-to: Allyson Widdis > The correct spelling of the name is Issey Miyake (for any who are interested), > but I don't think he is a designer. I > would assume that Issey is someone pretty important though since he is the > only one that she thanks. > --Allyson-- On the UK pedestrian issue of the Winter single, Tori thanks Issey Miyake on the back of the jewel box. Same spelling. One can only assume he supplied the wonderful silver coat Tori is wearing on the cover of the single. Interesting, also, that Winter and China are the only singles which feature Tori with straight hair. In all the rest, she's curly, or thereabouts. Whilst I'm here, does anyone have or know where I can get the China single? I'll pay ANY price. I just need it.
