Subject: Ring My Bell

I just caught a video on VH1's 8 track flashback (no, I'm not a regular
watcher) of Anita Ward singing "Ring My Bell".  It was apparently from Top of
the Pops in 1979 and sounded so cheesy I could spread it on crackers.
 Personally, I like Tori's version a lot better.  I'm just wondering if Tori
heard this song when she was a teenager and liked it or what...  What made
her pick that song to do a cover of?  I think maybe I read somewhere that she
met Anita Ward when she was re-making the song.  Or maybe not...
