Does anyone know what they say? I tried reading it, but the print is just wayyy too small. 3) While inspecting her hands for the writing (*G*) I also noticed that beautiful ring...looks like a sapphire surrounded by diamonds or something. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had seen that on her in any other pictures. I remember she used to have that big...um...turquiose ring that was on her for a while...then there are those little silver earings we see on her a lot... So is this ring gonna be something we will se on her for a while? - -The girl who asks too many questions.... **************************************************************************** ************************************************ "I got my feet on the ground and I don't go to sleep to dream, you got your head in the clouds and you're not at all what you seem" -Fiona Apple ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 7 Jan 1997 10:41:49 +1100 (EST) From: Christopher Boek Subject: Aussie Releases Mickey Sun wrote > > Over Christmas I got this double CD with LE and UtP. Also, i've > found that > most or all of Tori's singles released in Australia are packaged in > these neat > little card wallets... > Those double CD things are everywhere over here. I don't like them personally - I prefer the original packaging, although you do save a fair bit buying them together like that. Things like that are always popping up with all kinds of artists, not just Tori. And so, incidentally, are Australian Tour special editions. I recently got a special edition of Deep Forest's CD with an extra disc. It's a great idea, I think, as there is often some pretty cool stuff on the extra disc. The Tori one has been easily the best so far, though. Another good recent one was the new best of Crowded House CD with a bonus live CD. Speaking of the CD singles - I've been a bit disappointed generally with the singles of BfP. There's very little new material at all - it all seems to be remixes - and I have a feeling that the 'B-side' tracks on the last two singles were exactly the same ... (live versions of Honey and Sugar) Anyway, Season's greetings from the southern hemisphere! And just to highlight some interesting contrasts, it was around 37 degrees Celsius on the weekend in Melbourne (multiply by 9/5 and add 32 for fahrenheit). We've been hearing all about the cold in the US and Europe ... hope all is well. Widow" goes straight into the charts at No. 2. Good heavens! Call the sanity police! Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have some attention drawn to Tori again, but it is for the wrong reasons! Whatever next - "Father Lucifer (The Techno Mix)" ??? OK, so it's been said that the record company is just trying to milk it, but wouldn't a release of "Blood Roses" as a single be a tad more prudent? The lady doth protest, methinks! I'll know the world is really going to the dogs if Tori actually comes up on stage on Top of the Pops miming: "Oh honey bring it close to my lips"... Good day!
