Does anyone out there know about the importance of the town of Taos, New Mexico where Tori recorded "Under the Pink"? Does anyone know of any articles where Tori has talked about it? The person told me that she doesn't really like the catholic church. Now these words are not from me, so if they are wrong don't be mad, but is it true?? First of all, I believe Tori's father was Methodist and I guess you could say she was "forced" in by having her father be a minister, but that, again, is a Methodist community, whether she liked it or not...Not Catholic. In many articles Tori does confront her ideas concerning God because many followers and listeners wonder what she has against God. She insists she has nothing against God and that *she might have tea with him Tuesday nights* (sorry, not verbatim, off the head). She doesn't appreciate people shoving their religious beliefs down her throat. As for my opinion, I don't really think she is "God-bashing" in any of her songs necessarily. I think she is more stating her opinions about the divinity in which she believes. -Kimmy "We both know it was a girl back in Bethlehem" -T. She doesn't dislike God from what I gather. Um...that's all. Jenn (Little Earthquake) ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V1 #230 *************************************
